Same here Ian - I need to send Andy a package anyway so I can throw a few extra figures in if I have any that your grandson needs

I spent a lot of time looking at the toys in Beatties dept store Birkenhead so the price sticker on a Palitoy Lando was great

That's a fresh looking cardback, Andy! Nice how the price sticker is just off the logo too.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Here are some of my vintage pickups from celebration & just before:
- Canadian 20-back Snaggletooth It's got a couple card issues near the top but I am extremely happy with the overall condition. This was a part buy, part trade with a local collector who drove over to Celebration with Clint & I.
- Polish Bootleg Death Star Gunner (once I get a little deeper into the "Far, Far Away" book I'll be able to tell you which generation it is. (I'm guessing 3rd because the paint application is really sharp and the articulation is quite good.
- Hebrew Edition of the Origional Novelization...l why you may ask? Becsuse it looks awesome and it was something you rarely see besides at an event like Celebration!

Here are my only purchases/trades from Celebration. I managed to get a copy of "Engineering an Empire". I've only read a few page. But it's really good so far.
2 more of the Canadian 7-11 cups that needed from Todd Chamberlain's booth.
A Canadian cereal adpac sticker that I thought that I need, but it turns out that I have it already.
And I made a trade for the Japanese bottle caps from Jonathan McElwain at the food gimcrack swap meet.

There was a dealer with stacks of over stock. But only the easy to find ones. I thought that I told you about them? They were selling for $10 - 15 each.

Fantastic pick up's as always guys
The camera didn't capture it as well as I hoped but the degradation on this Lando's face reminded me of the film below

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Congratulations everyone on the excellent pickups. Always great to see what everyone is chasing! Up early this morning and ventured into Toronto I hate driving into the traffic mad house! Went to meet a person who sold me these. A little baggie of plastic gold and some figures. You never know what condition the figures are going to be in as it is hard to tell by pictures but was pleasantly surprised!

Well done David. Nice to see you picked up a complete Yoda.
Love the (what I assume) Hoth Survival Pack mail in weapons, back packs & gas masks.
Andy. Awesome going green faced Lando.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Thanks guys and yes Clint it would appear that several of the weapons are from the Survival Kit. The At-At Driver Rifle and the Rebel Rifle are rubbery. From reading up on the Survival Kit on the Imperial Gunnery site, those 2 rifles from the Kit would be rubbery.

Great score on the weapons, David! I had no idea the versions that came with the survival kit were noticeably different.
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
This is something I've been waiting for a while. I picked up this shelf talker at the room sales at the Cincinnati Toy show back in October and dropped it off at CAS right away while still at the toy show. I just picked it up from the post office last night.
I assume it was unused. I think it's the second shelf talker for the SW line, the first one said Toy Galaxy. Seems kinda weird that the grade label says 77 when a 78 is clearly visible on the piece.
