Thanks to a lead from James [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. I finally managed to get one of these radio promotion buttons from the east coast of Canada.
CHOZ-FM is a Canadian radio station based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. It's only 1 1/2" (38 mm) in dia.

When you get time sort a picture of what you have for him up to now mate, as we live close (ish) I'd be happy to throw any beater spares I have over to a young up and coming Jedi Very Happy
