Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
I love the latest additions being posted here.
Bill that Meccano Tusken is a beauty. Around 7 years ago I was lucky enough to get a minty Hong Kong version at a toy fair for the princely sum of £5.00 reduced from £10.00.
The seller clearly didn't know what they had. Needless to say I purchased a few other half price figures aswell.

Nice blue eyed variant, Alex. Windex is gonna change your life Chris, although an equivalent ammonia window cleaner surely exists over there lol the blue colour is aesthetic lol

Here's another update from this purchase -
I have been slowly working my way through all the newspaper clippings that were in the lot but not shown in the auction pics . Here are a few group pics :

For more pics and information see here : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I believe everything so far on that page was in the lot I purchased
I've only made it through a little over half of the newspaper stuff and still have a bunch of articles and even a few of the black and white comic strips that I need to document
and then there's still a bunch of film cells that I know nothing about

after
a dip of the mangled foot in boiling water pressed onto protech stand and he stands once again. the rocket i simply twisted back into place and is now rigid once again

Well done Bill. I just added the screen shots in the unpainted droids thread. Is the green colour different on the front & back?

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
just got this kickass small v power droid on the left .
here he is compared to the much more common large v one .
quite possibly one of the most boring and hardest variants to track down ive ever tried to acquire
for one thing most people don't know they have him and the second thing is that its very hard to tell from just a picture without a comparison shot .
differerences are smaller v, smaller sticker , smaller body and paint apps . also the grooves on the top of the figure are much shallower
Im very excited to finally have a variant of everyones favorite figure the mighty power droid
no really I am excited ... check it !!!
