Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
I haven't really bought much for sometime, but while wondering through the store here I found this awesome find. It was one book I had as a kid that helped fuel my love of Space flight . Now it will be added to my other Star Wars related books.
The Star Wars question and answer book about space 1979

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
I managed to get out to a toy show this morning, and ran into David [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .
We had a nice little chat, as he was leaving and I was heading in.
There was a little bit of vintage SW sprinkled around the dealer tables, but not a tonne.
I did manage to get an incomplete Canadian "Reliable" R2D2 coin bank. It's missing the stickers, but has the plug on the bottom.

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
It was a nice surprise to see Clint this morning at the Ancaster Toy Show. There was more Vintage Star Wars stuff this show than the last one I attended in December. Picked up a Cut Bubble ESB 45 back Black Bespin Guard. Cut Pop Star Wars Death Star Droid card back with a nice DSD with tight limbs. A beater RT and 2 Metal Snowtrooper miniatures. Picked up these comics from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , excited to add these to the collection, very generous of you Dave. Met with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] on the weekend to go over how to update posts and insert/edit pics, picked up this R5D4 cardback, looks awesome. Also a fellow collector friend picked up these 7/11 cups, now I need to finish the set. Darn completist mentality! [400] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/400]

Nice pick ups David, and it's great that you get to meet up regularly with your collector mates. Nice score on the comics. I have a few, but would like to pick some more up at some point. I love the old Marvel artwork.

Yeah, nothing major [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] . Do your part for the environment and recycle the cardboard. Don't forget to let me know when your pickup day is!! Very nice GDE cardbacks and button.

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
This piece literally just was delivered.
It's an interesting promotional piece for Coca Cola. But it predates the use of the term "Cobot".
The Kokan's Space Lazer "Coca Cola Pop Gun".
Approx. 6" x 9" (15 cm x 23 cm)
I confirmed it was legit with a few of the other big time Cobot collectors.
Coca Cola put out different promotional "pop guns" in the 50's, 60's and 70's.
They somehow make a popping noise when opened.
I'm assuming "Kokan" is a play on the words "Coke Can".
