Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
Went to my local model shop to buy some cutters.
(much cheaper on line but I believe you should support the little independent shops)
On the counter was a beater ree yes as I asked the cashier how come that's here. She said we buy model collections that was at the bottom of the box. She said I could have it for 50p!

Love those stories, nice beater! I agree also support you local stores or they will disappear. I love going and seeing things in person vs online. I have picked up some of my best bargains that way. You never know who you might meet as well. Prime example, was looking for some stickers to complete my ESB set. Came across a post from Clint, we met at a local Tim Hortons to complete the transaction. Had a great chat and started a great friendship with a great person and collector. That was about 5 years ago.

I couldn't agree more Chris. I have always told my kids you vote with your dollar, on who you want to support for businesses. Great score on Ree-Yees!
Well said too David. A few years ago when I joined Tantive I ended up meeting another collector Darthmarv for a small sale. It grew from there into a amazing friendship that I cherish.
Another nice little pickup.....

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
great finds Chris & Dave. I love finding random vintage star wars figures in the wild or in unexpected places. Even if they are a little battle worn.
Very nice, clean looking Rebo band Dave. Max looks a nice even colour too

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
While I've been stuck in quarantine, recovering from Covid.
I'm managed to pick up a couple of nice upgrade Jawa 20B and R5-D4 20C cards.
As well as a Walrus Man 21 back and a Death Star Droid 41C cards that I didn't have.

Visited a local comic book shop on the weekend, picked up a few Star Wars comics to add to the run. I have always loved comic book art! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
