A big Thanks to Dave [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for letting me know about an auction here in Cambridge Ontario. Tauntaun had his reigns, always a and the Battlestar Galactica Daggit has his tail, always broken! Some missing parts on the ships but don't have any of these so glad to add them. Case is missing trays but in really nice shape with no tears and snap intact! Thanks Dave[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Well done David great score! It doesn't look like there is much paint loss on those diecasts. I like the Daggit and the taun taun too. Glad it worked out

Nice haul David.
The die cast ships look like they are in fantastic shape.
You should be able to find some trays for that case at the local shows.

Thanks, dude! I suppose the 65-back is the Canadian debut for that figure but it's been a long time and I haven't seen one MOC.

Good score Chris, love the iconic $1.44 Zellers price tag.
Picked up this little guy a while ago.
And very late shout out to Andy for helping me put together a Canadian cardboard Death Star!

Congrats Dave. That Sandperson looks to be in good shape, other than the usual silver paint rubs. It must feel good to complete your Death Star.
That Andy guy is a legend for helping out.

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
That's a great pick up David. I'm glad that you've finally got it.
I haven't been in much of a star wars collecting mood this year. But I spent this past weekend in Toronto (Oct 22 - 23) at the inaugural "May the North Be with You" Star Wars collectors event. Put on by the Ontario Star Wars Collectors Facebook Group.
They had guest speakers such as Jim Swearingen & Stephen Geddes from Kenner, & George Irwin & Brenda Young from Irwin Toys aka Kenner Canada.
There was also Jim McCallum & Scott Bradley. A couple of the premier Canadian collectors.
We had collectors from all over Ontario, Saskatchewan, New York State, Ohio, & Colorado.
Everyone had a great time.

My main pick up is not vintage. But close enough.
The 3rd printing of "Irwin Toys: The Canadian Star Wars Connection" just for this event.
Signed by the author.
Printed on better paper stock than the original.

Re: YOUR LATEST PICK UP'S - VOLUME 4
Yeah it was pretty great! My “May the North Be with You” pickups were only these two Canadian 65-backs. There a little beat up, I’ll upgrade if I see some better examples but I’ve been looking for these two for a while.
We did record the panels at the show, I’m gonna try to have those up within the next month or so and I’ll be sure to post them here.
