Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Those are a couple of fantastic additions, Marky!
That display stand and the Death Star are two pieces that I’ve not added to my own collection yet. Not sure about the dark blue R2, perhaps I haven’t looked at mine close enough.
Those larger pieces can be a lot of work to clean. I’ve got a falcon with all the stickers that I’ve had a hell of a time trying to clean.

Thanks Ian. I might have one or two Canadian cards kicking around.
I was able to keep all my childhood card backs. You can see a lot of them here. I haven't update the thread in a while. I've added quite a few.

thanks Christian. I had to take several pictures of the pile from different angles, trying to convey the size of the stack. I thought this one worked best.

Love the new Canadian cardbacks, Clint!
That's a great looking POCH Lando, Andy. I must admit, that's the first I've heard of any such variant.
I'm waiting on a couple items to come in so I haven't much to post for now, but this thread is entertaining as always.

Nice addition Andy. You're starting to get a nice collection of Poch/PBP figures.

Cheers Chris, In hand his arms are a bit discoloured when compared to the torso and a few paint chips on his gun hand but I'm made up with him (I used photoshop to crop the image to size but did not alter the colours ect in any way, the camera has been kind to him on this occasion ) Bill also has this variant
Cheers Clint, I have a long/long way to go to catch up with our Bill (hellhippie)Commander Clint wrote:Nice addition Andy. You're starting to get a nice collection of Poch/PBP figures.
I bought the figure from Kenneth Baekmark who you know is a very nice bloke who really knows his stuff especially when talking euro variants
The cape was from a PBP scar Lando that I already had.
Very pleased to add this Lando as they don't come up too often

I don’t collect this type of item, but do appreciate them.
I have spent a very happy afternoon looking at all the free items that are on that link.
Many thanks.

Great to see the Library being enjoyed, Nick!
Just picked this up today, it was part of a trade back at the last Ontario Collectors Club meetup. This Canadian Darth Vader's Tie Fighter is my first piece from the diecast line.

Chris, that's a great Canadian diecast DV Tie. Well done. I haven't ventured down the diecast line yet.
Here is an ESB Comic book that arrived from France (printed in Italy). Very similar to the English versions that I already have. I'm still trying to find one from Quebec. I've heard rumours that they exist & have black and white pages.

Just a China Lando, I was interested in this figure as a possible paint error on the neck, looked very dark in Ebay pics
Unfortunately he came with a repo blaster which I will document then destroy
(to be fair the seller did quote repo blaster in the listing)

That's a goal for 2019 mate, try and get my small collection displayed and start a limelight
I never used to take much notice of the oddball side of the hobby but some of 2017 through 2018 mainly thanks to Pete from The Vinage Rebellion podcast and the great job James and Clint do here at Tantive documenting stuff I've really been getting into it and have picked up some great Lando and ERG items
