Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
I'm very interested to see is an Ewok collector has seen it.
I feel like I've tried some fairly extensive searching online and I haven't seen a single photo of it.

Could be a store display? First, is to figure out which movie scenes it's showing?

Great score Chris, was it identified accurately in the ad or did you figure it out by the photos?
Scott Bradley just torpedoed that Ewoks poster as being anything uncommon: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
but to be fair, they don't even have a photo of it up.

Chris, Nice PBP Hoth Luke. Too bad about the scarf. But like you said, it was 1/4 the price.
Chris, thanks for the update on the poster. I did go thru a lot of the posters on the SWCA, but didn't see that one.

Beautiful 12 back MOC Chris, nice pbp Luke Hoth other Chris!
It’s been a bumper week for me. After scoring a 2018 goal item with my Kenner pop up bonnet Landspeeder earlier I finally joined the VCJ club thanks to a very reasonably priced offer on FB. The little fella turned up in the post today and he’s in fabulous condition, not a scratch on him, in part to the ”above and beyond” packaging... which is just as well as the parcel force delivery man dropped it on the floor as soon as he got out of the van!

Jay, that’s a great boxed land speeder, I did look at this on Jabba’s last week, but no spare money at present and already have a payment plan with another forum member.
And what can I say about the VCJ, thats something I have accepted I will never own, congratulations, on a great addition to your collection.
P.S. has your heart rate calmed down yet!

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
I thought the same but then a trusted FB seller had it on for a reasonable price and I thought what the hell. Will have to sell a couple of items to fund it though, and dip out of the market for a while to let my bank balance recover. And yes I’m still buzzing.mini99 wrote:Jay, that’s a great boxed land speeder, I did look at this on Jabba’s last week, but no spare money at present and already have a payment plan with another forum member.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
I did see the VCJ as well on FB.
It’s worth not buying anything for a while to get something you really wanted.
Really nice figure and congratulations,

nice Chris I saw this dudes auctions . great price especially these days even partially broken . im surprised you went for him considering you have an affinity for only the mintiest examples of vintage figures
I almost went for that seller biker scout just on price alone but came to my senses as I already have a pbp one

After asking about I found out the poster was used in conjunction with the home video release. As for the images they are a mix of Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endorthe89thchris wrote:Caravan of Courage. I know my Ewok films lol 90% sure

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Thanks for the info, Scott. I was guessing that it had something to do with the home video release, I just thought it was strange because that ewoks logo wasn’t used on the posters for the films, and nether film’s title is stated on the poster either.

It's a great looking poster but then again anything Ewok is great in my eyes It's been a while since I have seen one FS but I don't really have a look for it. I don't have the wall space to display it and would seem a waste having it rolled up and packed away
