Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Finding two of those in one place is just remarkable, Fabrice! Congratulations. I think I'm just gonna get a nice yellow carded one lol since it's about the same price.
This was my ridiculous pre-birthday pick:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It was graded an AFA 50, that probably shaved hundreds of dollars off the price, and its a 12B, perhaps the least desirable Canadian 12 back. Just another good example of best offer accepted, never know till you try.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Yup, I’m thankful to the guy who paid $60 to have it graded so I could save probably $600 on it.
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Chris, an absolutely stunning R2 on a very good card from what I can see.
Why was it only a 50, has the POP been shaved?

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Nope, pop is intact. There is just some veins and edge wear on the card and the bubble is crushed a bit on one side.
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Then even better pick up than I thought, well done.
That R2 looks so bright.

Yup, it’s not something I expected to have, it just appeared and when I saw the grade, I thought I’d give it a shot.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Some wacky flea-market finds yesterday:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
- DSC (paint upgrade)
- Lando Calrissian and the Mind Harp of Sharu
- ESB Novelization
- Long Ewok Movie promo poster (Can't find this online, copyright says 1984, 1991, I'm guessing it was released because the Caravan of Courage came out on VHS the year before in 1990, but one might expect that it would have been from the same year. The second Ewok movie came out on VHS in 1992 so it's not that either (and the photos are from the first movie). The other interesting thing is that the logo is the same one from the cartoon (and as such, the figures).
I don't know if I'll keep that poster but if there's a old(ish) SW item I have trouble finding on the internet and its cheap, picking it up seems like a good idea.

Well done.
Chris, What size is the poster? There should be some more information with the copyright date.
It might match up with one from the SWCA.

Because it's the very end of the vintage line. It might be allowed.
Take some good pictures and throw them up. Then we can decide.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
It's 36"x12" and doesn't seem to be on that SWCA list, probably because it's not technically a "movie poster".
