In honor of Walking Dead Sunday and the pain I still feel missing Hershel

This morning I went to a garage sell and I got Pink Floyd's Meddle and The Beatles' Abbey Road in vinyl french pressing. Unfortunately not first pressing but re-issues from the early '70s. But for 5€ both I won"t complain (:

I had to spend a long time looking into the cases full of records the guy was selling -going through an absolutely horrific selection of awful french pop music records of the '70s and '80s- to find these 2 and save them

Floyd rules for sure , I own most of their stuff with wish you were here being my favorite album , the beatles not so much .... anyways

I bought that Sabbath tribute CD when it first came out. There is some incredible stuff on there. Ironically, I thought the weakest track was Ozzy covering himself.....



I did think White Zombie, Ugly Kid Joe, and Type O Negative all killed it though. Awesome stuff.







On a different note, I was recently introduced to this song. Seems a little pop heavy and was apparently popular with the kiddies last year, but holy shit, if this isn't the reincarnation of Freddie Mercury from Queen. Guy looks and sounds almost exactly like him, and the song captures an old Queen anthem style spirit too.
