It's a great way to learn more about our fellow human collector friends

An and I are big animal lovers too.

This is Tygo, our twelve year old big male cat. The cats in the neighborhood call him Terror Tygo, as he is quite territorial.
To us he is a very friendly giant though.

This is Pluk, who had just sneaked into a vintage Dagobah box. She was only one third the size of Tygo, and could easily been mistaken for his smaller sister.
She liked playing a lot with us, see the old vid. Unfortunately she left us a few years ago because of a rapidly progressing disease. She is still in our hearts.

While trying to take some pics of figures for the site (yes I am doing some so don't faint guys   ) I took a couple of shots of the latest addition to my menagerie. She is a four year old Columbian Rainbow Boa a little under 5 feet in length which I have re-homed. I believe that I am the 3rd keeper (not including the pet shop the previous owner got her from). Hopefully she will live out the rest of her days (possibly another 20 years) with me.
The photo's don't do her justice, but hopefully you can see the iridescence on the skin which in the right light looks like petrol on water, hence the name 'Rainbow' Boa.

I have 2 Plecos , some catfish , neon tetras , rummy nose tetras , cherry barbs and a red tail shark ... but my biggest population is Swordtails .

They breed like crazy and I constantly take the extras to the local pet store to thin down my herd  

I had red velvet and painted swordtails but after they crossbred I ended up with a whole bunch of the most beautiful solid bright orange mutants

Just wanted to share my wife and I's favorite Christmas gift this year ...
