Re: FANCLUB PAPERWORK (CARDS , FLYERS , NEWSLETTERS , etc ...)
Very cool, I've come across some Bantha Tracks stuff at a few toy shows, the price seemed high for something that's kinda tough to display, love reading the stuff though.
That membership card from 1987 is pretty interesting, I didn't know that version of the Lucasfilm logo existed that early. The 1996 VHS set still has the generic looking green one at the beginning.
Digital archiving for the win.

Empire Strikes Back Fan Club Pencils
Click on any of the photos below for full size image :
These pencils can be found in 3 versions . The lighter Blue pencil is a bit of a mystery to us at this point . They seem to be very uncommon so the odds are it was either a early version that got changed to red , a late version that changed from red to blue or possibly even a exclusive employee item
The Dark Blue pencil was a Fan Club limited edition re-issue in 2010 .
[600][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/600]
[500][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/500]
The Red pencil is the most common . It was included with the 1980 ESB Fan Club Kits and a 6 pack was available for purchase through the Bantha Tracks Star Wars Fan Club .
[600][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/600]
Multipack
The Multipack of pencils was only available for purchase through the Bantha Tracks Fan Club . Issue # 13 (Aug. 1981) started selling a pack of 6 of them and was available for purchase through Issue # 18 (Nov. 1982) .

I believe it is Fan Club related but haven't been able to pin down when/how it was available
Not even real sure what the hell to call it

Awesome stuff James. The card almost looks like part of a story board? Where they detail how the shoot is going to happen.

That sounds aboot right
I have now added all the fan club forms that are found in the Kenner In product catalogs (and some magazines) to their appropriate places on page 1 of this thread .
Well I say all but its just the ones that we already have in our library - I know there are more catalogs out there still that we don't have yet so there are probably more Fan Club applications to be found

Thanks Clint
The one I find humorous is the Sci fi Convention Texas Chili Cook Off - only in America
Its probably one of the most uncommon Fan Club items as well since it was only sent to Texas members

Yeah, that one was good too. Very regional. Would it have come from the people putting together the sci-fi con?
