Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Well done Nico!
The version I picked up is from a Playmobil license holder. Just like Lyra was releasing this set in Greece as can be seen in your pic.
Bonus question: Can you guess company name and country for the box which I just picked up?

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Good guess, Andy. But it is not the Spanish version.
It is a bit less exotic.
It is a tough question, I realize.
I didn't know about this version till I saw it on ebay.

Is the company 'Geobra' Marco?
a few new pick ups from Spain, for me this month
from left to right:
PBP CCP, Darker orange/red helmet variant, PBP/Lili Ledy C3P0, Poch Imperial Snowtrooper.

The PBP red helmet CCP. What a fantastic grail item.
Congrats Chris!
In a sense yes. cause Geobra is the German company behind Playmobil, the Kenner from Playmobil so to say.
But I meant the company importing the Geobra set from Germany and releasing it in country X in its own box.
Congrats Chris!

@ Fabrice: nice haul of loose vehicles and parts.
Playmobil: This box was released by a company called Schaper for the US market.
Schaper hold the Playmobil license in the US till Mattel took over a few years later. I knew this set was released in for instance Greece, Spain, Mexico, and Brazil. But before seeing this box I had no idea this set was released in the US as well. It even comes with instructions and a mini catalogue which are both unique for this Schaper US set.
I am very happy to add this box to my small Playmobil R2D2 side focus.

I will make some better pics another time.
Cheers

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
I just got this fanastic comic from our province of Quebec. The story just seems to end, so I'm assuming there are other issues, like the Whitman editions. It looks like it was also printed in Quebec. It also has the back cover from the Whitman Issue #2.
Une Edition De Tresors - La Guerre Des Etoiles (Super Size) - 1977 Editions Heritage (Quebec - Canada): 10 " x 13 1/2 " (25.4 cm x 34.29 cm)

Matt, That's a great score for $10. Is it complete?
Thanks James. I know there are some regular sized French Canadian SW comics from the same publisher, but I when I was searching google for more info., it seems to be the only super sized comic they published.
