Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Chris, that's a fantastic bunch of stuff. I especially love the comics from Quebec.
I'm looking forward to seeing the comics posted in our comic section.

Glad you guy's enjoy it. I know I like seeing everything you all pick up, but its hard to post everything sometimes lol
Anyone else collect print ads like those two from Meccano? Those were really affordable and I think they will look great framed or in a book with page sleeves.
ALSO, very nice Shuttle, Fabrice! That insert looks fresh! I have been slowly completing my loose one.

Those look like they're in fantastic condition, Fabrice! Congratulations!
I'm cleaning and organizing some stuff this weekend, I'll try to get around to photographing a few new items.

I know that you're screaming at the computer, saying we've seen these before. But wait, this is the retailer "Mr. Dealer" version with the instructions on the back.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
That’s awesome, Clint! I wouldn’t be surprised if it was on the last one in a giant my stack sent to the store so they could read it when they were setting up the display. Very cool!

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Thanks Chris & Ian. I almost passed it up, when I saw the ebay auction. I thought it was the regular small poster. Then I opening up the link and saw what was on the back. It's definitely a very interesting piece.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Just in case you guys thought I stopped buying, here's an excessive post of things from the last couple months :
Kenner Cannada Bandolier Strap, toy is complete, paperwork is missing.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Kenner Canada (Multipack) ESB Stormtrooper
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
More Canadian ESB MOCs (The Ugnaut is particularly nice imho)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Possibly my favorite thing in this lot (and about the same cost as the bandolier strap) is a Wonderbread Shelf Talker from '77. This was mentioned on the 'Chive Cast as the most affordable, entry-level, store display item. I had a look, and it turns out they were right. This looks awesome on a shelf, under my AT-AT, protected by a couple of 6"X9" top-loaders. It was about $50.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Thanks, guys! That Stormtrooper has some of the most minimal card damage I’ve ever seen for being a multipack figure.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Thanks, Bill. I'm really happy with how the shelf talker looks on display.
One other interesting thing I noticed with these, I always thought the inner trays that supported some figures started showing up in the Jedi line but this dengar has one. Do you guys know any other ESB figures that have the inner support tray in the bubble?
