grinchys star wars props
I have been a sculptor /mask maker for years now, and also dabble in makeup fx, here are a few star wars things i have created starting with a lifesize yoda bust, this is the clay sculptiure before moulding

and here is the finished bust with acrylic eyes and punched in hair

next up is a couple of small fridge magnets, made in resin, featuring han in carbonite and a george lucas in carbonite

next is a small yoda in carbonite, again done in resin, around 8 inches tall

Thanks everyone, i need to finish the hands and feet so i can finish the lifesize yoda, i've done loads of other props over the years, mostly horror film replicas

Thanks Steve, i've allways been fascinated with monsters and creatures since i was a liitle kid, the original cantina scene fascinated me with all the different characters,

Thanks again guys, and Marko no i haven't done any of the cantina creatures, maybe in the future i could have a crack at it, i really need to have a go at more star wars characters

I'm self taught when it comes to making busts and props, i did go to college to cover makeup fx, but apart from that i picked it up over the years reading lots of books and magazine articles covering sculpture and movie making
I have worked on a few films, nothing earth shattering, and some tv and theatre work to, i had my own little company offering prop work but a few years ago i had to close due to illness, nowadays i keep at it as a hobby, i take on the odd commision to make masks just to keep myself busy.
