What a love fest going on here
It really did look like you guys had a good time. I shall have to make a concerted effort to attend the next one. NY would be awesome but its pretty much gonna be Florida or California considering the theme park openings.
Clint, I have that Celebration R2 proudly displayed with my last POTF figures and the fact that its made of parts you moulded yourself is beyond impressive.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Thanks for the kind words, those are all phone pics, I am gonna take some new IG shots tonight, been slacking lately due to travel for the real job lol Love the Ledy Luke, and can't beat the story.
Keeping on topic, look at this Canadian cardback that I've found at a pawn shop.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
As I hear, its one of the more common to find with the GDE on the front. There's a guide at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but it seems to be from 2003.
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Excellent additions everyone. I think you GDE Stormie cardback is a very nice find Chris, as Andy said, it looks to be in great condition.

That Yoda looks quite distinctive! Great find. I'm not sure if the 3P0 bag is any different on the Ledy, I shall look into that
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Great pick ups Bill. Both the LL C-3PO & PBP Yoda look to be in fantastic shape.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Here's a recent Canadian moc score I made at a comic shop in downtown Toronto, they posted a big buy on Instagram and I swooped in at opening time the next day and scooped the highlights There was a dealer who'd commented on this post, expressing interest in these 3 but I just got there first. Sometimes it pays to have irregular work hours. The dealer who wanted them has sold me about half of my Canadian Droids & Ewoks lol so we share taste, good or bad.
First up, Canadian unpunched Emperor, 77 back, little bit of creasing on the bottom right corner, not much to say here, why its awesome is all in the description of what it is.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Along with the Emperor, I got the unofficial members of the last 17, Lumat & Paploo, these Canadian versions were made in Mexico, and as such have perfectly clear bubbles. That combined with the really great general condition, & crazy backing colours really make these stand out to me.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Both of the Ewoks feature an identical Zellers sticker, a defunct department store (aside from two locations near me which are liquidation centres for HBC) which was a Canadian facsimile to Walmart, pre groceries. This sticker, and the fact that they share similar great condition, as well as coming from the same collection, I like to think that these were purchased at the same time.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Considering all that, & in a way, this is the complete 79 back wave, presumably on debut cards, (as these are both 77 backs (and as such do not feature themselves on the back) I think these are about the most interesting pair of Ewoks one can have. Frees up a POTF Lumat from my collection too, as this is far superior imho.
