Re: my modern collection so far
got this guy as a gift from a friend, same one I got the hoth han set from, bit beaten up, but still a decent figure, not a great likeness, what is it about Mark Hamill's likeness that company's can't get it right, I wonder, but happy to have him in the collection
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
took another pic of the hoth set
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And finally the child came in a massive box this was just sitting in a load of bubble wrap, palpy there for scale
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
this is surprisingly tiny, more in scale with the smaller scale not 6 inch, maybe its just me

You're right, Hasbro really can't get Mark's face sculpt right.
Nice "Child". It looks fantastic.

Re: my modern collection so far
Cheers mate, i only have about ten vintage figures plus loads of modern, but shipping is getting out of hand, my last order from the states cost me more in shipping than the item itself, shame as theres loads i'd like to get from overseas

Re: my modern collection so far
Good choice! I haven't seen the second wave in Canada yet. I picked up the Luke Bespin just because I didn't have any other black series Luke figures and that one looked pretty good. Wouldn't mind having the ROTJ one but I never really saw it here, despite the fact that there were tons on clarence in the states. I'd probably get that R2 if I saw it. Then again, got the VC Slave I recently so I should slow down the modern purchases... lol
Re: my modern collection so far
Cheers mate, it is a good wave, only need the tie fighter pilot to complete the 2nd lot, not sure if i'll pick him up, favourite for me is the rebel trooper

Just got this in metallic collector cards, just thought they were a nice set to get, have to laugh at the limited edition, over 40 thousand copies, so not limited at all really
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
They are pretty cool, not sure if Theres many more different sets out there this is series 3

Interesting pick up Ian. Are the images similar to the Topps/O-Pee-Chee vintage cards?

Re: my modern collection so far
I've had my eye on this twopack for a while now, just took the plunge and won them on ebay, a great pairing, and yoda gets two heads, heres some pics
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
heres the extra head on yoda
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And the standard head
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
luke gets extra hands so theoretically you can have him in this pose, i doubt it'll hold though

Looks like a fantastic set Ian.
Luke training is one of those figures that Kenner should have done back in the day.
