Re: my modern collection so far
Well I changed a couple of things around, added some 1/6 scale figures to the cabinets, changed stuff a bit

Forgot to move BB8, he is going in the smaller glass cabinet with Finn

I know I've showed it before but this is one of my favourite things, weathered falcon

Re: my modern collection so far
I added Anakin to the cabinet, and moved some figures to the smaller display cabinet, pretty pleased with it now
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I added a spare robe I had to Anakin, I quite like the look now, it should be a darker brown but I can live with it

Re: my modern collection so far
I very rarely put the cabinet lights on, they get very hot, but I did for the pic

Also put on my glowing sign, this is battery operated
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
You can just see my jedi curtains, had these as a kid, they stay closed with blinds shut behind them, limit the light damage hopefully
Picked this up from one of the facebook groups I am on, 3d printed not bad for twenty quid delivered, you can see printing lines on it but for me it is a nice enough replica

Re: my modern collection so far
Awesome photos! It's nice to see all those carded TFA figures on the wall, it seems crazy that only 5 years ago they were supporting the first film in the new trilogy that much and now there were maybe 7 for TROS.
Re: my modern collection so far
Cheers mate
The cards are on the rear of the bedroom door, have most of the wave there missing Luke bespin, i'll pick him up eventually, it is a shame we never got any rise of skywalker figures to end the line with, apart from those kid friendly galaxy things

Well The Rise of Skywalker Vintage Collection figures do look great but like I said, I think there's 7.
Re: my modern collection so far
Forgot about the vintage collection, haven't bought any of them yet, i'm sure I will, just need to stop buying 1`/6 scale customs, that's where my money has been going lately

Looking good Ian.
If you're bored, you should give a custom figure a try. You have more than enough talent my friend.

Aww cheers mate, nice of you to say, at the moment i'm on new meds that make my hands shake slightly, very off putting when trying to do delicate work, I do plan on some larger scale busts where big moves are the order of the day,

My hands shake all the time. That's what alcohol and THC are for.
As a designer, I'm just glad that I don't draw on paper anymore. I'd be hard pressed to draw a straight line.

It is a bit of a pain, I used to be able to sculpt smaller pieces, and using an airbrush takes more time, but i'll get through it, cheers mate

Not bought much during lockdown, but just snagged this Finn from the second wave of the titanium series, not a bad figure,
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I have the first wave loose, now I need the others to complete the set, Rey,Kylo, and Phasma

cheers mate, shame they didn't do more of these figures, I quite like them, but I feel they were overpriced at twenty quid each at retail, I feel around a tenner would have been better and they would have sold more, I paid 8 for this posted, not a bad price at all

Re: my modern collection so far
So I wasn't going to get this set, but it had a few new extras on it so decided to take the plunge, I have the OT on vhs video, laserdisc, dvd, the last bluray set and now this one, its a sickness
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Anyone else got it, theres a 4 k version as well, but i'm not willing to make the jump to a new tv and player just yet, plus the movies are not true 4k just upscaled, I have my despecialised versions of the OT which are my go to movies when I need an OT fix, and adywans version of empire which is a treat

Re: my modern collection so far
Just bought this from a fellow collector friend who was downsizing his collection a bit, the Hoth Han And Leia echo base set, looks good, bit bulky and have no idea where i'm going to display it, but when has that ever stopped me
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Also got this coming the child from the Mandalorian, nice little piece

Re: my modern collection so far
That Echo Base is an interesting piece. I've see the vintage one before, but not a modern one.
I have been resisting the urge to by the Mandalorian figures. But I've been seeing a lot of great custom ones being done on the FB groups.
