Hi everybody!

Some of you know me from TIG and perhaps even RS. My name is Tommy and I come from Sweden. I have actively collected Star Wars since 2005. When I was a kid I was kind of a collector too, but then you had to rely on your parents for getting items.

I mostly collect Mocs. Vehicles, playseys, monsters and all other things connected to the Vintage line is of course off interest. I also pick up a poster here and there.

I hope this will be a fun and cool forum to hang out at and I hope to get inspired in my collecting.

Rob, collecting a basic set of vintage figures is certainly a realistic goal.
As long as you don't follow the path of variants collecting, cause that is a slippery road without an ending.
It is a fun road nevertheless.

Hi I'm Mark,
I'm a member of SWFUK & RS (& was a member of SWCC) under the name Conrad Rithblat,
I had the majority of the figures & vehicles as a kid & started collecting again in 2008.
I have a Walrus Man focus
& I also collect vintage 3 3/4" figures; Mego, Gabriel, Mattel, Remco, Hestair etc...

Hi guys,

Way late to the party, but just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. For those that don't know me, my name is Steve Danley and I've been actively collecting vintage for roughly 15 years, but the films and toys have always been a huge part of my life. I co-host the 'Chive Cast podcast with my good friend Skye Paine and am an editor over at the SWCA (mainly maintaining and contributing to the blog). I also organize events for the California Vintage Star Wars Collectors Club (which was started by Skye before he moved to New York), so if you're a native and are interested in joining don't hesitate to drop me a line.  Lastly, I'm an admin for the "Dark Times" Facebook Collecting Group.

As for my collecting tastes, I've put together a B-Wing Pilot run for the last decade or so, but also generally collect (or shall I say collected with the current market the way it is!) pre-production and other interesting items from throughout the line. More recently, I've been working on a collection of vintage-era film, video, and related theatrical ephemera as it has somewhat of a fun connection to my work life as a moving image archivist.

Christian C. had first introduced me to the new forum and I must sincerely apologize for such a delay in jumping in. As we all know, hobby discussion and interaction is as lively as ever, but spread over so many platforms... which can honestly be a struggle for me to keep up with. I'm making my best effort to become active in as many outlets as I can, and am looking forward to the goings on here on Tantive XI!
