Having a nose about the site and thought I'd introduce myself.

I found this place when Googling for short pour info.

I've been collecting for around four years. My Holy Grail is an Imperial Shuttle. It's a nice obtainable goal, but one I haven't fulfilled yet. I've never been in a rush to complete my collection as I enjoy the search.

Loving the site and enjoy checking back when my two year old son lets me. (He also has very nice collection. He just doesn't know it yet.)

Talking about the Imperial Shuttle, I can identify with you. I was but a few steps away to purchase one myself at a greatly reduced 50% off the retail price in Christmas 1985, but sadly I was beaten to it.  I had to sit out for 27 years before I FINALLY acquired a C8 boxed condition - 100% new in box unused with all original parts in sealed plastic bags, unused label sheet and Instructions. (Special mention to ShawnK who helped me in getting this Grail to my boxed Vintage Star Wars vehicle collection)  The price has since climbed up when I got my Vintage Imperial Shuttle in the Fall of 2012.

For all the new members to give a little introduction.

Hello Everyone!
Allow to introduce myself, My name is Arturo and Im very happy to join you.
I see several, almost all o, names of people I have been following through the years in other forums, great contributors I lost track through the years. Very happy to be in touch again.

Well, about me, I realized that more than an Star Wars fan, Im a Vintage Kenner Star Wars lover, Not to say Im not so fond about SW, it is just I realized that my true connection with SW is through the Kenner collection.
Im a Vintage Sentimental Enthusiast (V.S.E) more than a collector, although I ended my collection back in the early nineties. I keep my original toys from my childhood, all of them in good order. My parents bought me 99% of the stuff, and I only had to get on my own the most obscure characters as Yakface and blue snagletooth through the web in the internet era, just after  realizing this guys existed. Since I have my original childhood collection, I never got interest in to purchase again carded figures or boxed playsets, I still like to "play" with my old "friends" from time to time. Everyone of my action figures holds a memory from my past, as you could infere they are one of most cherished treasures.
One of my deep frustrations was when I knew Kenner cancelled the line, so, 30 years later,  Im running a little customizing project, I call THE VINTAGE STUDIO that attempts to recreate what would have happened if Kenner would have continued the line. I have been sharing my monthly WHAT IF SERIES installments in several groups on  facebook and now I would like to share it with you. It is an important project for me and I hope to keep it running for some time.

Hi all,
I'm Steve, I've not long been a member and joined due to the coverage on the Vintage Rebellion podcast. I'm fairly regular on SWF.uk.
Been collecting since the early to mid 90's. Took a hiatus at the beginning of the 2000's for about a decade until I found some Star Wars forums and swiftly unpacked my collection from the loft, created a room, completed my run of every figure on any card. When I was collecting before 'focus collecting' wasn't something I knew about, but it seemed all the rage, so I started putting together a Han Solo focus, which now has some meat to it.
Looking forward to learning a lot more as a member
