What Music Moves You ?

I don't think anyone here shares my primary music taste, lol, although I'm loving the Zeppelin and related songs.

I'm not sure how much of the following I have posted before, as I talk about it everywhere, and I'm too lazy to dig back through the thread.

My first love is 80's glam metal. For years, my fave bands were becoming more and more relics of the past, even though most of them are still around and releasing music. However, a few months ago, I found out that Sweden has a hell of a lot of bands that reflect my fave era of music. So do Finland, Germany, Australia, and even here in Canada. Interestingly, outside of Steel Panther, very few in the US.

Every one of the following are from the last decade, virtually all of them are still active now, and several are within the last year. The underground rock revolution is on my hairspray and spandex loving friends!



The scene is alive and well, just not in the US mainstream. It's now referred to as "sleaze rock", and from checking out related sites, it appears to be growing in popularity again. I can say for sure that all this new music is making me feel like I did when I was a teenager and it was all new back then.
