There's a new repro in town :(
There is a new Leia Bespin repro cape that just popped up on eBay.
Its the first offered one I've for sale specifically as a repro item, and not just on a figure, since I really started checking eBay almost daily over the past 2 years or so.
The only upshot is the seller seemed to only be offering 4 for sale I think. So for now, he isn't pushing 100's at a time. But I am sure that will change.
Spotting in the wild: The only way you can really tell if it this repro easily is if in any listing pictures on a figure wearing it would be the evenly spaced lower pattern.

- It is very similar to the one seen on TIG, but this one looks more polished and refined.
- It has better printing overall.
- It seems to be die-cut.
- It still shares the same identifier of the lower pattern area being too perfect. All the lower circle patterns are evenly spaced where no other cape shows that uniformity (except the normal Ledy cape).
- This repro is based closely off of a V3 cape on my guide.
- The arm holes are nearly identical to the V3.
- It is slightly shorter and wider than the V3 and V4 capes.
- The upper pattern on the repro does not show any left or right facing gaps that I use as an ID point for the V3 or V4 capes.
- It is a very vibrant pink.
- It is made from a nylon or vinyl or other plastic-like material. I am not sure to be honest, but it is some plastic-like material for sure.
The only upshot is the seller seemed to only be offering 4 for sale I think. So for now, he isn't pushing 100's at a time. But I am sure that will change.

Great photos and thank you for the heads up. I don't mess with eBay anymore for vintage SW. If I buy I buy from the forums from trusted sellers. That's it, it's getting really crazy with all this repro crap.
