General Kahn wrote:Haha, now that would have been my thought also, I'm not into hoarding (My Luke's are all different) however, the heads are different, one is painted with matte paint, the other is painted with glossy paint. Is this a LL variant that is known with the Biker Scout, I know the AT-ST Driver can be found with both matte and glossy black paint.
As I understand it most Ledy figures can be found with matt or gloss paint.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
I recieved another fantastic gift for my Birthday today from Sergio Another truly awesome act of generosity.......
A damn fine Poch Luke Bespin Interestingly his hair colour is different from my other figure of the same 'variant' this is more mustard while the other's are more reddish ginger. I compared this against two beater examples I have and there is definately two distinctively different hair colours, so a new variant is added to the run
And finally the full Poch Luke Bespin line up

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Super stoked to get these beautiful card backs in the mail today.
Canadian Sand People 12a, Han Solo 12a & Chewbacca 12b. They came with decent figures. I don't know if they would have been the original figures that came on the cards?

Congrats Clint, some really nice looking cardbacks!
Judged from the small head Han, it could be the actual figure which came from that cardback, I guess.

Thanks James & Steve.
I forgot to even check. From what I can see in the peg holes, it appears to be the black molded variation. I can't see any white at all.
It's too bad, I don't have a white molded leg one yet.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Picked up another lot of cardbacks. All Canadian, except the 3 USA in the top left corner. There are a lot of upgrades here for my current cards. And the AT-AT Driver card is a possible "Tranny" card. Unfortunately the round sticker on the front and the mail away Admiral Ackbar figure offer sticker on the back has been removed. Sorry for the crappy indoor pictures, I'm supposed to be working on a 3-D model of an existing home.

ooops, looks like a missed a few posts on this thread
Congratulations on that latest Poch luke Bespin Alex, that was incredibly generous of Sergio. Also, damn that is serious dedication to the site, getting Tantive XI inked onto your leg. Although I might have gone with just the letters: TXI
Wow Clint that was an impressive haul of cardbacks bud, I like the At-At driver card, with the transitional ROTJ sticker on it

I'm pleased to see that you have scored a nice lot of cardbacks Clint! Did they come from a yard sale?

Thanks guys, The cardbacks came from another collector on the east side of Toronto & he doesn't collect cardbacks. He had bought them in a big lot from another collector that was selling off his collection. So they have changed hands a couple of times in the last few weeks. Most of these are upgrades. But it was the possible tranny card that caught my eye.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
That is a huge haul of Canadian cardbacks Clint. Congrats.
My latest pick up.
A Trilogo Yak Face cardback with figure from a Spanish childhood collection.
I like the still visible imprint of the oversized PBP bubble and off course the signature Gaderffii Stick which came with this figure on Spanish cards.
BTW: The Gaderfii stick is not a PBP exclusive release, it is just an imported Kenner accessory IMO.

And I finally managed to obtain the harder to get no COO Nien Nunb variant (on the right). Here with one of his no COO brothers.
Massive thanks to Kenneth for pointing out the ebay listing for me.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Marco, congrats on the great additions. I'm super jealous of the Tri-logo Yak face cardback. And that is a great no coo Nien Nunb.
Not really a new pick-up for me, but when I was visiting the farm last friday, I found some more of my old childhood SW stuff. I picked the stuff up last friday, but I only just got a chance to look through it. I think my favorite is my little scrap book and the stuff I found in it. I was super surprised what was inside.
My childhood Speeder Bike box, cut up, and the instruction sheet. My childhood Slave I instruction sheet, My childhood Nien Nunb mail-in paperwork. & a C-3PO mask from a box of C-3PO's Cereal.
The Nien Nunb mail-in paper is only in english. Either I threw out the french one, or it was only in english. It was a treasure trove of memories.

Congratulations Clint, it's always a special day when you find lost items from your childhood. I'm lucky enough to have found a few myself, but I'm still looking out for my file of cuttings & cardbacks which are somewhere in my fathers attic.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 1
Thanks Steve. I was surprised when I opened up the scrap book and started to remember some of the pieces that I pasted into it. And was super excited to find the paper work and other stuff sitting inside it as well.
Hopefully you'll find your childhood stuff at your dad's. Hopefully it will be exciting to find it all hidden away.
