Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Thanks Clint! Glad they arrived safely.
Stroopwafels are my favourite Dutch sweets and Tim Tams are Australia's most famous biscuits.
Thanks for your kind words about my comic and thanks for supporting me yet again

Nice to see that carded stuff you dug up, Ian. The easiest way to tell if it’s a Palitoy card is that there is no blue and white Kenner logo on the front, bottom of the card. You’ve got 3 Palitoy cards there!
Fabrice, stunning score as usual. I have a French ROTJ read-along too but mine has markings stating that it was printed in Quebec.

I made a quick stop in Montreal and found two more Editions Heritage French Canadian Marvel comics, and in the background there is another new piece that really needs some more extensive staging and photos to fully appreciate

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Some super nice pickups guys. I do like the Star Wars Comic book art. Something about the illustrating style back in the day really appeals to me.
Picked up a little lot from a guy on Kijiji. Don't like to ask sellers to mail stuff as you never know if it will arrive. Price was low so I took a chance. Turned out pretty good!

Awesome Canadian cardbacks! I think I’m only missing 2 to have one of each figure, maybe 5 to have ‘em all debut cards.
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Alright, I'm gonna get through a nice chunk of my latest pickups, not all lol... but I've got to start somewhere.
First off is a complete Canadian edition of the Star Wars Arcade game for the Atari 2600. I've been told by another local collector that it actually has too much paperwork and that the Indy game was released by another company so those adverts shouldn't be in there. If you follow TantiveXI on Instagram, you will have already seen this earlier this week. From what I've seen, the Atari 2600 version of this game is really a rather poor rendition of the arcade classic, the 2600 was simply not powerful enough, but that box art is awesome!
Next is a Canadian ROTJ box of Dixie cups, I didn't plan to buy this but it was very cheap and right beside something else that I picked up recently (which still needs its own, complex photo documentation ) and this Canadian Yoda Hand Puppet was also on the cheap side too, the top is still sealed but the bottom looks like it may have been opened. If anyone has one, maybe you can tell me if the twist tie around Yoda's neck is also green on yours.
Lastly is a Canadian B-Wing. It's nearly complete. The insert and instructions are there, but the vehicle is missing a couple of stickers, other than which it is in nice clean condition.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Wow Chris some items that look almost brand new! Congrats. I remember saving my Paper route money back in around grade 8 to buy an Atari, played space invaders for hours, it was the game that came with the console. Don't ever remember seeing Star Wars game for it. You always have some fantastic stuff, thanks for sharing.

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 3
Ya there are atleast 3 Star Wars games for the 2600. This one, ESB and one that’s “lightsaber training” or something which basically looks like Pong.
One of the best things about collecting old games is that wit YouTube you can see what the gameplay looks like just by searching the title of anything. I have 5 or 6 working consoles but no 2600.
