Some nice oddball pick ups from your side too, Clint! Great that James helped you obtaining them.
The X-Wing, Landspeeder, TIE Fighter sheets are stickers? I haven't seen them before.
Cheers
Marco
Thanks Marco. The x-wing, landspeeder & tie fighter are "hang gliders". You punch out the pieces and make paper ships out of them.
You can see & read more about them here.

There is a millenium falcon one as well. One just recently popped up on ebay, and is on it's way via James. James thinks they are one of the hardest to find of the food premiums.
The Falcon card arrived yesterday …

They Hang Glider cards were only available for a short time in Lucky Charms or Trix cereals and do seem pretty tough to find .

How many kids do you think didn't immediately put them together

Another thing that makes them hard to find is what do you search for ? The cards don't say "Hang Glider" on them anywhere so unexperienced collectors wouldn't no what to list them as . To find them you have to use multiple searches - adpac , general mills cereal , trading cards , punch out ship etc , etc .

Those hang gliders are a cool little item, glad they survived all this time, and the unbuilt ones are so cool to still be around, like you said what kid could resist punching them out and popping them together

Love those hang glider cards, James. Reminds me of the Burger Chef cut out items.
Here's my latest gimcrack pick:
Some glorious, colourful bootleg stickers with a Canadian import sticker on the back.
The second item there is the notorious Spaced #1 (1974) by Jim Pinkoski. If you're not familiar, there was a great 'Chive Cast episode, way back (during the ESB figures, I think) where they covered it quite well, but I can't seem to find that episode or I'd have linked it here.

I'll re-post this over in the gimcrack thread as well, we gotta keep that one firing on all cylinders.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] well, that certainly is a beautiful piece. Are you focusing on Palitoy cards or was that an oddity for you? (If you don’t mind me asking)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Love that MIM Vader, passed one up for $200 at the Cincinnati Toy show and mildly regret it.
Here's my latest score form the toy big Mississauga today. I'll post some pics in "Gone to the Con" later today. It was a great show and featured the first Canadian appearance of CAS.
This Canadian Attack Base has the complete toy but is missing instructions and insert. I picked it up cuz the box looked great and it was quite affordable.

Fantastic - this box artwork is one of my favorites. The screaming cyan-coloured background is vintage as hell.the89thchris wrote:This Canadian Attack Base has the complete toy but is missing instructions and insert. I picked it up cuz the box looked great and it was quite affordable.

Thanks Chris.
I didn't make the trip into the city for the show. I had too much to do that day. Plus the driving weather was shit.
I got this lot off ebay.
