Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
If that's his first Nien Nunb then I've got a serious problem Andy is clearly more knowledgable and embedded in the community than me lol
Ive got a stereotypical new collector post for you guys lol I would t have got these at the same time if they weren't offered to me for a bundled price. Finally got around to the two entry level "rare" figures:
A salty blue snag, rounding out my complete SW loose figures (still need a nice like saber actually) (and I think BSnags rebel blaster is from the ESB line):
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And the yak. There's also a Jord Dussat over there that's new but that's not quite as cool as the celebration custom Clint sent me I'm gonna have to clean the black series stuff off that shelf soon, when I set it up I didn't invision getting that many of the last 17 this century lol

As I briefly mentioned above, I got them together from a local collector. The snag was below market value, but he's got some paint issues. The Yak was closer to the higher end but the condition is amazing.

Thanks for the kind words Chris, I've known a lot of the guys here for about four years now and its been an absolute pleasure learning about the hobby from them and becoming good matesthe89thchris wrote:If that's his first Nien Nunb then I've got a serious problem Andy is clearly more knowledgable and embedded in the community than me lol
To be honest Chris there are some figures I just have not bothered with and they have not turned up in bulk lots ect, but I will get them some day
Big congrats on the Yak and Snag mate, two landmark figures I have a mint Yak but am still looking for a fair priced blue snag(wish I'd bought one four years ago when I got my Yak and Yak coin)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Love that Dengar mate, awesome pick up

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Awesome Bill, killer figure bro Love that cardback
I was lucky enough to get a loose one with the flat top toys blaster from our James (ourchickenshack) the other year
I'd been after one for ages, missed out on a few carded ones but it's one of my absolute favourite figures
The no peg holes in the feet is a bit of a pain but love my stormtroopers
Congrats mate

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Very cool so judging by the comments I am guessing a top toys figure has no peg holes in the feet. I was trying to figure out if you had no cardback how you could tell each apart.

Hey Larry [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], I just noticed that Mandalore figure! Nice score, that one is pretty pricey on the secondary market as far as loose modern figures go, $50-60. It was only released in an "Evolutions" 3 pack and is sort of a "Knights of the Old Republic" figure. lol blowing up the spot with some modern
Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Picked this Chirpa up from Ebay as I've never seen a hood like this before I think it's a factory error, short pour maybe

Re: Your Latest Pickups........ Volume 2
Great find Andy, paint looks perfect too! That must go a long way to help identify it as a factory error.

Andy, Nice Chirpa. The more I see that Chief Chirpa hood, the more I get the feeling I've seen it before. I just don't remember if I have one in storage?
Chris, that's a fantastic painted torso version. Well done. I'm glad the droid arrive. You deserve it.
