Re: my modern collection so far
Very nice. Looks like they did a black wash on it. I went a little overboard on that with my Hero Series Falcon. Now it has much more black in the grooves than any of the screen-used versions did lol but it looks right without direct comparison.
To be fair, those can almost all use a bit of colour, Slave1 especially. I wouldn't paint one myself but can't say I'm particularly interested in them due to their mostly dull or non-existent colour schemes. Carded are nice though

Re: my modern collection so far
Hey Chris, yeah it does look better with a touch of paint, he even painted the figures and put tiny details on the dashboard really well done
love to see your falcon,, I repainted my own bmf falcon, its a lot darker than the original but I like it

Re: my modern collection so far
Nice, I once bought the SDCC Yoda & Obi-Wan 2 Pack, but I soon after traded it for some loose kenner, close call.
They are just too cool lol would have had to get the whole set.

Re: my modern collection so far
Yeah, I wasn't collecting when this series came out, but I did get a couple comic packs that I still have around 2008-09 just because the figures were insane.
Re: my modern collection so far
I have only one of the comic packs, the camie and fixer two pack, theres plenty of cool comic packs out there, would love to see what you have

That one is pretty cool, I haven't seen a good quality version of those scenes in ages.
I just have the Darth Taylon & "Cade*?" and Kyle Katarn and the Vong which is a monster lol got one of those loose too.

Re: my modern collection so far
cool, theres so many comic packs I find it hard to keep track, the ones you mentioned sound great
Got my fett in the mail, no problems, really well packed to which is great, good when sellers pack stuff well, had a few horror stories over the years!

Yeah the McQuarrie figures are ace, I still need a few to complete the set, but I have fett now and obi and yoda, the two most expensive ones, so that's good

Just got in this general grievous unleashed figure, love the line with the dynamic poses, got it dirt cheap as one of the feet were broken, nothing a dab of glue couldn't fix

Re: my modern collection so far
Nice piece Ian.
I haven't purchased any modern items for a couple of years, but I will be looking out for the new 3 3/4" Vintage Collection when it lands next year as I have nearly all of the others (just missing two or three exclusive releases).

I enjoy collecting both modern and vintage, love the cardart on the vintage collection, will be looking out for the new line when it comes out, glad they are bringing it back, just hope they don't do to many repacks of existing figures

Re: my modern collection so far
Aldi stores in the uk have a line of not quite six inch scale figures, they are reduced versions of the larger 12 inch scale that Hasbro puts out, £6.99 each, 3P0 is particularly nicely done, not a bad set to have in
