Photobucket picture image issues
My apologizes to anyone that is trying to use the library. We are experiencing issues with Photobucket.
It's going to take some time to re-upload the pictures using a different image hosting site.

I thought that I read somewhere, that if you don't pay by the end of the year, the accounts will be deleted as well. Has anyone else read this?

We ran into this on the Garrison Forum one of our guys wrote this. "Photobucket now requires you to pay a $40/month fee if you wish to host with them and use images on forums".
Now I am not sure if it effects people who pay already or just those using the free subscriber side of photo bucket.
So let's do a test here if you pay for the site or not upload a photo here and let's see, I still need to see if the fee is for all and will let you all know when I hear.

Re: Photobucket picture image issues
Keep us updated Larry. $40/ month is more than $399/year. They are gouging the monthly guys if that's what the monthly rate is.
We are about 1/3 done replacing the pictures. Then we can tell photobucket what to do.

Re: Photobucket picture image issues
Sent a message and ya $400 to do what my laptop can already. I am also seeing what Flicker is like as well.
I will let you all know about both, for now I want to see how to move everything from photo bucket to flicker.

Larry, you can always use the forum's built in image hosting.

Re: Photobucket picture image issues
I like having a back up to all my photos just in case, photo bucket did the job til they got greasy now I need to see what I need to move from there to flicker.
I do use the function here for ones on my laptop as well its just easier, and if I do rearrange photos then it doesn't effect anything.
I do need to add stuff to the library though at least items we don't have here.

Re: Photobucket picture image issues
Just a quick update for everyone. About 3/4 of the Lili Ledy library section is back on-line. The 12" figure section is back on-line. And about 1/3 of the Kenner section is back up and running.
Thanks for everyone's patience as the photo's get re-uploaded.

Re: Photobucket picture image issues
Just a quick share with everyone.
There are extensions for both Firefox & Google Chrome, that allow us to see broken photobucket links.
It works on some forums, but not on others. It doesn't seem to work on TXI yet.

Hopefully this works for a lot of people that didn't save their photo's, or can't download them from Photobucket.
