I was shooting video of an event near the old Irwin Toy / Kenner Canada offices yesterday so I thought I'd stop by and grab a few current pics for you guys. It's been called the "Toy Factory Lofts" for a few years, you can rent a loft for $2,400 CAD monthly  

There's currently a coffee shop in the bottom, the offices are private so you can't really go in, although I've shot videos for one of the tenants in the past.

Clint probably knows more about what actually happened in this building lol but I thought this might interest some of you.

Lol I was gonna mention that but I figured you'd chime in more accurately. I remembered reading that Wikipedia page but couldn't find it earlier, forgot it was focused on Irwin.

I actually don't know that much about Irwin Toy / Kenner Canada, other than what I've read.

Scott Bradley would probably know a lot more.

That book is awesome. I bought my 12 back Tusken Raider from the author, Jim McCallum, many years ago, and had the chance to buy it for about $10. I didn't, and regret it now. Jim would be the go to guy on this, but unfortunately, he's left the hobby due to personal issues.

Definitely, hopefully I will get to Toronto in the next couple of years.

Yeah not only are there stores with loose figures and Jedi moc's year round lol but there are also surface dweller activities too like NHL and NBA games lol and a world class aquarium built like 3 years ago

Clint, have you seen that there's only two of these for sale used on Amazon and they are both in the states and $500? lol I've been looking but it would be pretty hard to spot, doesn't look like it has much of a spine.

Ok so there's a buy it now on ebay for a reasonable $145 lol

Considering I paid around $5 for mine. $145 seems like too much.
