Re: Short Pour & Factory Error Figures
Love these factory errors , I am loving that Hammerhead also , very cool.
3po is a figure with not many errors unfortunately, Anyone got a ballon head to post ? I love that and intend to pick one up. I believe they are Ledy.
Only other one I know of is the usual Baggie with two left arms , just missed out on one on eBay the other week.
Cheers
Vince

Here's another example of a factory error that is a fairly frequent occurrence on figures ...
Factory Paint Overspray ...

Unlike most of the other cool errors shown in this thread , I don't like factory overspray

The short shots are obvious but can you spot the other two errors.

The chewie is very odd. It's a PBP which has no coo or date stamp. Totally blank looking legs, except for slight ghosting of a coo in the fur.
Instead of being a short shot, one leg is actually longer and the foot bigger than it should be. I've compared foot and leg length to my other chewies.
I have some suspicions about it though. Like most PBP figures the limbs stick and need cracking to move, yet the left no coo leg stays loose and doesn't stick over time.
It could just be the light but I also get a hint that it's slightly off color, but only ever so slightly, yet is glossy and stinks like a PBP figure should.
Also has this mould circle underfoot.
If the leg has been swapped. Where you would you find a such a replacement leg which is an incredibly close match but slightly longer with a bigger foot.
I'm 80% sure it's legit but hopefully someone else has an example or knows what may have gone on here so that I can stop doubting.

Andrew, The AT-AT Driver has an unpainted right arm! The other error must have to due with the AT-ST, but I haven't been able to spot it.

The AT-ST appears to have had the guns on the underside fitted upside down Clint.
Thank you for sharing those Andrew. These errors are always fun to see.

Re: Short Pour & Factory Error Figures
Spot on, Steve. The front guns are fitted upside down. Easily done no doubt but have never seen one before. No damage or signs of the AT ST being disassembled so certain factory error.

Re: Short Pour & Factory Error Figures
I agree Andrew. I don't think it is possible to seperate the two halves of the cockpit without causing obvious damage. Besides, faking an error like that wouldn't add any value imo.

Re: Short Pour & Factory Error Figures
That is a fun ATST factory error, Andrew!
Here is another factory error which I posted in another thread yesterday. Quite obvious what is wrong this time.
All early PBP ("Poch") figures.

Midnight Vader
Found this in a bag of randoms... This very sneaky Vader managed to avoid the spray guns and leave the factory without a single speck of paint! Love the way he looks. Really puts the 'dark' in 'dark side'.
