HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Hi all.
Some of you guys might have seen these picture alreadys, but I'm sure it wont harm you to see them again. For those who haven't seen them, I recently got a carpet in the collecting room, so with everything out of the room, I decided to shoot some pictures of my non-Kenner variations, before putting them back on their shelves.

Re: HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Thanks Steve.
Some of the figures are from my childhood collecrtion, where i got my first figure (Luke Jedi, Taiwan, green saber, sewn cape ) a Saturday in 1984.
Started collecting as an adult in 1995 with buying at fleamarkets and having adds in newspapers, first international buy was in 1997.
Started collecting variations arround 1999/2000 or so and foreign variations in 2004.
So this have taken quite some years to assemble, but except for Yoda and Biker Scout all of the Meccano variaions is purchased this autumn.

Fantastic and very inspirational collection, Henrik!
Thank you for sharing here!
I also like the solution you found for displaying the peghole less TopToys figures.
Question: Tomorrow the Empire will invade the earth and you have to flee to the Outer Rim.There is limited space in the Rebel Transporter which brings you there and you are only allowed to take 5 figures.
Which 5 figures you will put in your backpack?

Re: HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Thanks for the nice words guys.
You're welcome Chris, glad I could help and contribute to the coo guide.
Tough question Marco, but I'll give it a try:
1: Luke Jedi (Taiwan, green saber, sewn cloak), because it was my very first figure I got as a kid in 1984.
2: Yoda (Toptoys), so rare with an unbroken belt, needs to be preveiled as long as possible
3: Bossk (Poch, toxic green limbs), admit because of it's rarity, besides it's a cool variation
4: Jawa (Toltoys vinyl cape), really like this unique variation, which took me so many years to find
5: C-3PO (Glasslite), unique and cool variation
I might however grap something else than the figures (except my childhood Luke Jedi), and chose some pre-production stuff for the medallion I sponsored for CE or for the StarTot, I sponsored at CE2.

Always love seeing your stuff. You're sincerely one of the most modest variant collectors around. What a collection!
Thanks for your help with the COO guide

Again thanks for the nice words and comments.
Here an updated picture of the Lili-Ledy figures, after the arrival of the dark dome 1978 R2-D2.

Re: HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Found this little fella at CE3 at Luis Galvez's booth. For those, who don't know what it is, it'sa Lili-Ledy Teebo with brown eyes and nose. Finding this one and the Lili-Ledy R2-D2 with dark dome and 1978 coo within the same year is good fortune. The fact that Kenneth and I both found both of these figure in the same year is amazing, two of each in little Denmark now.

Re: HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Henrik, Nice LL Teebo & to find him at CE3 in a booth. Was he labeled as a Ledi or did you notice the brown nose & eyes?

Re: HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Thanks Clint and Chris.
Oh, I wrote it a bit misleading, as it was not on the actual convention, that I found it but at the room sales. It was labeled as a Lili-Ledy, so I checked to see if it was the brown eyes/nose variation, and it was. Buying it from a wellknown and respected collector / expert like Luis, I also know for sure, the accessories are Lili-Ledy and not Kenner.

Re: HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Nice pick up Henrik! Great meeting you at CE3.
I went to the room sales but was too busy talking so I didn't buy anything. Then my wife was falling asleep so she pressured me to leave!

Re: HWR : My Foreign Loose Collection
Bought this little fella from Alexandre Vegas last week to complete my loose Meccano set, and it arrived safe and sound yesterday. These pictures are shot by him, but I will shot a photo of the 11 together when the weather allows good photos and upgrade the picture in the first post.
