Hello all,

First of all I want to say thank you for welcoming me to this forum.

I have been collecting Star Wars since I was 6 when my neighbor got me an X-wing, Zuckuss, and 4-LOM for my birthday. In the mid 90's I got into the new POTF 2 line and pretty much stuck to that for many years. I finally got my head out the dirt and reverted back to vintage line, but focusing on collecting every basic figure. Within the last couple of years I started to focus on variants and rare figures mainly for luke bespin, luke jedi, and yoda. I have pretty much burned my whole modern line and replaced it with vintage.

I have nothing to really offer many of you since I am a rookie to the vintage line compared to most. I will probably be the one on many threads asking a lot of questions.

I came across this site through a search on FB, and I don't think a day has past that I haven't logged on (unless I am on 24Hr Shift). This is an awesome place to search around and learn.

You have to switch to the desktop view.  I think it's the box with the up arrow, at the bottom of the phone.

Hi guys, I’ve been collecting on and off since 1997 (dabbling really), until I found myself out of work at the start of 2017. What started off as an attempt to de clutter, sell off some of my duplicates and maybe make some money to help contribute to the household bills soon went into full blown reverse as I well and truly picked up the collecting bug again. Back in work freelancing as a graphic designer I completed my loose run minus Blue Snaggletooth and VCJ (only took 20 years) and then found TIG, SWFUK and the Vintage Rebellion Podcast. Up until that point I’d been collecting blind, all on my own, isolated and insular and suddenly a whole new Star Wars universe was opened up for me as well as a massively knowledgable and hugely friendly community. I kept hearing good things about Tantive XI but despite signing up 3 months ago couldn’t see a thing (so not tech savvy) but I’m y here and loving it so far. Cheers Jay.

Glad to have you here Jay! It's funny that you couldn't see the site properly until recently.

I work from home for a day or two each week so running it on a PC you don't have any issues. Modifying or stopping the mobile view is probably worth looking into on our end.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Hopefully I’ll be able to get exploring in the next few days/ weeks. I’ve heard some great stuff about the forum particularly regarding knowledge and expertise, especially from the boys on the VR podcast who won’t stop banging on about it
