So i traded away the very last of my laserdiscs and come away with this set of friday the 13th, complete movie collection, i know theres a newer set out with better special features from scream factory, but they are region A locked and i don't have a multiregion player so this will do

Comes with a booklet, some old school 3d glasses for pt 3 a patch and the discs

really enjoying the friday the 13th set, the films are dumb, but cool, some nice effects work done in each of them

Love the set Ian - as bad as some of the movies are , they'll always be some of my favorites

So i won another Steelbook, this time the JK Rowling fantastic beasts, this is the European version, love the Harry potter universe

So i was checking ebay for steelbooks and came across this set, less than 6 pound delivered, i took a gamble on it, see if it comes and is the one pictured, the auction pic was not very good, but i found a pic online

So the batman bluray didn't show, didn't think it would, shame as it was a nice  looking set,
Just bought this, a good eighties flick, tremors, loved it back in the day, not seen it in years, this is the steelbook

That's a shame about the batman bluray Ian. But great pick up with Tremors. Love that movie, cool artwork on the cover too.

Well i finally took the plunge and bought a new 4k 65  inch tv, and a new 4k player, comes tomorrow, finally be able to check out if the fuss is worth it, lol
in time for halloween got this coming, halloween 1 to 9 bluray

So i just won Toy Story, 4k, really like the movie, just going to see if they all need the upgrade or just the first movie, they are not that expensive, only 7 pounds odd each, i'm really liking the new 4k tv and player, can definitely see a difference

got a good deal at hmv today 2 4k for £24.00, i picked Jaws and Alien the first one,

So i sold a few bits so had some cash, bought a few 4ks, first up Highlander 4k set, comes with poster, booklet, some artcards and badges, the 4k looks great

Next up a movie i worked on back when i was a fresh faced kid, Event Horizon, it was a hard slog, but i liked the movie, worth a watch if you haven't seen it,

Love Highlander, I bought the digitally remastered blu ray a while back. The sound was amazing on my home theatre system. But I was disappointed with the picture quality, as the remastering created a lot of digital noise. Hopefully they managed to clean that up for the 4K version

Hey Chris, i've yet to watch the main feature, checked out the extras, i've heard its a new scan, i'll let you know

Got a few more coming in, first up the thanksgiving favourite planes trains and automobiles, can't say how much i love this movie, just a great story
theres over an hour of extended and deleted scenes, thats the big draw for me, i've read numerous bad reviews of the quality of the 4k transfer, but honestly i'll be happy, its not Citizen Kane, its a comedy and never looked that great to start with

Next up a double set of Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal, i got a good price for the two, so i'm happy

next up Top gun maverick, i've heard good things about the movie, my wife went to see it, i liked the first one, and this set is hailed as a brilliant 4k

last but by no means least, the 4k of a new hope, had to be done, the bluray looks stunning so i hope this does to,

So i traded in some blurays, got myself some instore credit, which i then put towards the back to the future 4k set, looks great

So i had heard about this documentary on the making of stephen kings IT, the made for tv movie, and forgot to see when it was coming out, its been out a while now and just came across a listing on ebay, i won and it'll be on the way soon
Should be a good doc,. they spent the time to get the main players involved
