"The First" Canadian ToyCon in St. Catherines Ontario (July 25, 2021)
This is the first "Canadian ToyCon" event in Southern Ontario since things stared to open up again after an extended lockdown. The previous show (March 15th, 2020) can be seen in the next most recent thread in the "Gone to the Con" section.
I was helping out a vendor, Mike from 4th Moon Toys and although I am mildly biased, he had the best booth by far so the photos kinda focus on some of the more interesting things he had out on display. If you follow the TantiveXI instagram you may have already seen some of these photos shortly after the event but I've included a few extras here.
The first few photos here are of the 4th Moon booth just as the show was opening up.

I got a few pics of some of the other booths, most did not have substantial amounts of vintage items but I think I got a shot of all the ones that did.

It was pretty lightly attended but under the circumstances I'm not suprised. There is another Canadian ToyCon scheduled for this weekend, if I make it I'll take some more photos.

Thanks for the pictures Chris. It looks like it was a good turnout. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to that one, or the one next weekend. Hopefully I'll make the one in Sept. & Nov.

Don't worry, the best stuff there has been on Mike's site for a while. Nice to get out to one of Steve's events though.

I'm hoping to get to the Sept & Oct shows in Burlington and the Nov show in Mississauga.
It's going to depend on my work schedule. Hopefully my work load starts to even out by then.

Wow Chris, your friend your friend mike has some really nice stuff on his stall. everything looked in amazing condition. I love the At-At, Slave 1, 12" Boba and the box full of Vader figure cases
I wish we had collectors cons down here in Cornwall, U.K.
I would have liked to have attended Echo Live this weekend. But it would have been a 9 hour drive, round trip.
Hopefully now that things are opening up again, some smaller collectors events will start up again, in Plymouth. Which is only 1hr 30mins drive away.
Thanks for sharing your pics of the event with us

Nice! Yeah he’s been doing a lot of local toy shows lately too. Another one in Mississauga on November 7th for anyone in southern Ontario! We’re going to have an Ontario Star Wards Collectors Alliance meetup the night before too.
