Galactic Armory on YouTube

I recently found this guy on YouTube, he only has 3 videos, but they are all really interesting. He goes into some great detail about some obscure items, including a very interesting Japanese R2 which was new to me. He also has an interesting way of displaying his collection, it features many diorama type displays with relevant mocs in the background. He has disabled embedded playing for two of them so I've included links above the video.

The next video focuses on the 7" Takara line from 1978, which I'd never looked at in this level of detail before so I found it really interesting.


The last video takes a look at some Dutch advertisements for the action figures.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of us knows this guy   , but the videos were really interesting so I thought I'd share them here.

Chris, the only video that plays is the 7" Takara.

It's interesting you posted the video of the Dutch comic with the adverts. I was just messaging with Marco [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], and he found a bunch of these old Dutch comics with the different adverts.

Weird, I'll update that to a link, he has disabled it from playing as an embeded video on other sites.

That's Paul "Galactic Armory". He was one of the first people I started chatting with when I got back into collecting. He moved over seas and haven't heard much from him in a while. Sadly. He's a good dude.

As far as I know, Paul is still overseas.  He's in the military.  Christian and I, had the pleasure of meeting him in person at C8 in Orlando.  He's a really nice guy. Paul's on the left.

Yep Paul's a great dude. I hadn't seen that video either.

Paul has gone super quiet this past year or so but he pops up once in a while to say hello.

Cool to see that you guys met up with him at C8. The videos have some great information so it made sense to share them on their own merits.

Seems like all collectors know each other to some degree these days.

I've hung out with Paul at the past three Celebrations now. We always seem to gravitate towards each other (and beer!).
