Great videos Chris
I don't care for grading figures personally but I do like the way CAS cases their figures far better than the way AFA does it

Re: TXI on YouTube
Absolutely, and as you can see in the FonzCon video, the Empire State Collectors club asked Ross to speak mostly because it just added a bit of information and entertainment to their meetup agenda. I do really like some of the custom work CAS does though, and it’s probably good that AFA has some competition in the US. Even if they are your preferred brand, this may encourage them to produce some new offerings.

Re: TXI on YouTube
Enh lol it needs a presenter, but yeah the real pay off would be to have other members submit content. Maybe even some video collection tours? I'll do one once I'm finished my new room arrangement.
Re: TXI on YouTube
Great to see the youtube videos, very interesting, would like to see more, including other peoples collections, thanks for sharing

Updated with a collection tour from my last days in my current apartment before I move. Bigger collection room at the next place. Also the CAS presentation has been moved to "public".
Somebody else should be cool and transparent like me and also do a collection tour you black-hole, freemason, bohemian gove attending, Illuminati!

Re: TXI on YouTube
Thanks but I know you guys all have WAAAAY crazier stuff that will interest me beyond belief so some of you should follow suit. I know you won't all have 3-axis gimbal stabilizers lying around to shoot with but its about the items lol
Re: TXI on YouTube
Check out "Toy Traders" located in Langley, BC. I could have edited it down more, but as it is, you can get some sense of how I just stumbled around, blown away by the place.
There wasn't a lot of Kenner Star Wars for sale, but the owners private collection was well hidden, I only noticed it shortly before I left.

Re: TXI on YouTube
Yeah, I paid for that falcon but then didn't leave for like, another 30 min or so because I was like... oh yeah, I should probably shoot enough for a video...
Did you notice that Canadian "chipboard" death star box sitting precariously on a ledge 40 feet in the air, lol above a half star destroyer... ?

I saw death star. But didn't realize it was the Canadian version.

Re: TXI on YouTube
Well you'd need the 4K version I guess lol I didn't bring a long enough lens. I thought it was so strange that he'd have that stuff up there, that snowspeeder looks like its about to fall lol and he had plenty of empty cabinets where he could have put it with an NFS sign. Oh well lol That star destroyer below the boxes is pretty amazing too.
Re: TXI on YouTube
That place was amazing, so many dioramas, loved the star wars ones especially, There's a lot of expensive stock just out there hanging on the walls
Thanks for the video, appreciate it
