Re: THE SECOND ANNUAL TXI STAR WARS PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
Sorry for the delay guys but I finally figured out what prizes to send to the participants
I want them to be a surprise so the winners won't know what they "won" until the package arrives
@poncho & @the89thchris
I need the two of you to PM me your address

Thanks a lot, James. Though I was certainly outclassed, I still had a lot of fun... and roasted pumpkin seeds

Re: THE SECOND ANNUAL TXI STAR WARS PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
Some remarkable artefacts from @ourchickenshack showed up today.
It appears to be an expertly paint stripped removable limbs C-3PO and some sort of delightful vintage ESB contraband holders Thanks so much James, very cool stuff. Now to see if I can figure out what it is before someone posts a library or SWCA link.
Also, I didn't know that the second version of 3PO didn't have a real rivet in the back. The more you know
Thanks so much for the overly generous participation award!

Re: THE SECOND ANNUAL TXI STAR WARS PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
I received a large package today containing my prizes and Steve/Beth and Poncho's which will be forewarded on Monday morning
I don't know what's in the other packages they are all sealed up ready to go
I will post pics tomorrow in good light but I'm especially made up with the Butterfly(1983) erasers (2 Royal guards and a Darth Vader) the sculps are very cool
A cool Royal guard badge(Adam Joseph), ROTJ pencil and a vintage 4-Lom rifle
There is something wrapped in Christmas paper but I'll keep that until Christmas
James I'd enter your Pumkin comp for no prizes mate as its great fun having a go at carving but thanks for the prizes my friend they will fit in great with my collection

Re: THE SECOND ANNUAL TXI STAR WARS PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
I always enter the contest for the fun of it, and James sent me a prize as well.
Here is what arrived this afternoon. A beautiful pocket sized version comic book, for my comic book collection. Also a fantastic Burger Chef mini collectors booklet for my booklet collection.
Thanks again my friend.

Re: THE SECOND ANNUAL TXI STAR WARS PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
The prizes for Beth & myself arrived today. Thank you very much James we're both thrilled! And thank you Andy for taking delivery of the package and forwarding it on to us.
Here's a pic (you may notice a small hand sneaking in to grab the 3 Musketeers ).
I love the level of detail that James puts into his customs. The 3-PO's are a stripped fixed limbs (cream) and removable limbs (bronze) which I'm very happy to add to the collection.

That is a figure Kenner should have made for sure, would have gone great with the dewback and been very popular
I love the dirt/weathered effect on him, great custom

3 other brothers to him are sitting on my shelf
I didn't do that custom Steve
He is one of a set that Clint gave me a while back and I thought you might like to have one - I don't like to bogart all of Clint's cool customs and thought I should share the wealth

I'm actually planning to put it with my Dewback Andy. I was thinking of making a lance for him from a damaged Leia Boushh weapon to keep the vintage look.

Steve, I used a bamboo skewer for shish kabobs and fruit skewers, cut to length and painted black.
