For the paper, I tried a few different products but these worked out really well for me:

I organize a bunch of labels in one go to arrange as many as I could on a single sheet of A4 (this is very economical, you can get MANY stickers on a single sheet). I then cut them off the A4 sheet exactly with scissors as needed. If you haven't had a read through this page yet, I recommend it:

Keep the questions coming, I love hearing how people are using Star Wars Tracker. And most important --- share you pictures back here when you are finished, I'd love to see how they turn out!
Cheers, Jared.
Yea, the Ewoks line is picking up a bit with some collectors and they're selling on eBay now. I came across mine when I found that decent haul of about 100 figures earlier in the month. Between those and the DROIDS line, sparked a new interest for me! Thanks again....

Hi All,
I just wanted to reply here again to say that the Star Wars Tracker app is now available on the AppStore and Google Play. I know a few of you have been waiting for this version. Hope you find it useful!

Great news! I'll be downloading it immediately. Very curious to see what you've done with it.

You will finally be able to scan your Tracker barcode labels too!

Re: Anyone Use Star Wars Tracker?
App looks great, but I can't seem to get the scanner to work. I'm assuming my print resolution must have been the problem as I'm sure you tested it extensively.
It's strange because, if you look at the web url at the top, the lines look pretty sharp compared to the fuzziness of the bar code.

Re: Anyone Use Star Wars Tracker?
Hey Chris,
Yes, I think it might be your print settings -- you need to switch on all the high quality options to get the best printed resolution - just turn everything up to 11! Here's how some of mine turned out. These scan just fine for me.

One thing you can try to rule out a technology issue with your phone is to just scan from your computer screen. Quite literally, just hold the app up to your computer screen and scan the label there. If this works, then it's just an issue with the print quality.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And one last thing -- I can't scan your barcodes and you can't scan mine. Tracker will only allow you to load up items that are in your portolios.
Cheers, Jared.

Re: Anyone Use Star Wars Tracker?
I use it all the time!
I actually Beta Tested the app and I have to say that the app has increased my usage no end... quick valuations, great to log the collection and all in your pocket too!
Truly believe every collector should at least try it out and I'm certain that those that do will subscribe, the value for money is unbeatable IMO.

Re: Anyone Use Star Wars Tracker?
Oh I didn't know that you couldn't scan other people's items.
Maybe you should unlock some limited information or atleast current valuation when other people scan it.
That way if an item is sold I can leave on the tag and it will be more of a value add, and convince the buyer to get your app.
I'll let to you know once I've resolved the scan issue. Thanks for the info.

I'd need to think that through carefully -- to allow others to scan barcodes generated out of a foreign portfolio (ie, not yours). They are good ideas though, perhaps bringing up latest pricing information is harmless enough.

Having another issue where when select an moc on the price guide it never stops loading (the screen with the green/yellow spinning circle), but when I look for the price data on loose, it comes up right away.

Hi, can you send me an email to support at starwarstracker.com and we can follow up on the issue there.

Re: Anyone Use Star Wars Tracker?
Hey Jared, a couple of questions/thoughts...
1. I noticed in my portfolio it can't find the "average" for several of my figures, which pulls them off the auction sights. R2 (sensor-scope) for example, it shows when you do a broad search, but not in the portfolio with the evaluation... $0. I have 6-7 MOC's not showing the value in my portfolio that you can always find when doing a typical search for the values. That R2 has 6-7 sales recently.
2. I still feel if we can add a photo of 'our' figures/MOC/MIB it could build your database of photos and allow us to use our own if needed.

Re: Anyone Use Star Wars Tracker?
Hi,
1) I can take a look into this. Could you send me a screenshot of your portfolio with the missing valuations? Best is an email to support at starwarstracker.com and we can go from there.
2) Yes, I agree. So much so, that this is the next major piece of functionality I am working on now. I recently did all my loose figure entry into the Tracker, but there is only so much that you can do with words to clarify the variation between some figures. Sometimes you just can't beat an illustrative image. It will take me a little while to arrive on a UI that's fun/easy to use, but stay tuned!
Thanks, Jared.

Re: Anyone Use Star Wars Tracker?
I have couple of quick questions.
Is there anyway to include Kenner Canada in the licenses catagories? Or are they lumped into the Kenner catagory? edit - I figured it out.
How do I make it look up MOC's? edit - I figured it out.

Jared, is there a way to make Tracker single out the "Made in Mexico" MOC's?

Hi, nothing *officially* supported in that way as I don't tag MOC prices with that level of meta-data. However, you may get lucky using the "free text search" on the description text for a price. This is only going to be an option on the desktop version of the app.
As example, I've done a search for Darth Vader MOC prices over the last year, and then cut down the results with *mex* as shown in the screenshot. You can show the description column through a right-click on the table header. Pricing tile and scatter graph will update with only those results. Hopefully that can help!

Cheers,
Just added my loose collection and was wondering about other variations.
I've added my Lili Ledy Squidhead which is the red cape version, does that make a difference in the valuation? Also my Luke Jedi is the molded face version.
Also I have a couple of variants like 2-1B & IG-88 in both matt and metallic finish and Klaatu with thin and thick skirt. I assumed the values are roughly the same for those though.
Also is there any way of adding my Han Hoth with molded legs?
Cheers

If you have tagged your squid with the Lili Ledy licensee, that will help give a more focused valuation (it won't count the cheaper standard kenner ones in the calculation). Colour of cape does not factor into the valuation algorithm unfortunately (neither does molded face variant of Luke), but licensee does - so make use of that where you can.

In my experience, the values don't change very much for these differences - hence there is no selection in the Tracker that identifies a *first class citizen* figure variant of these to select (compare that with hollow cheeks Tuskin raider though. The price difference plus community recognition of that variant warrants its own entry).
Dr_Ball_MD wrote:

Again, no real meta-data that you can choose to identify paint/coo variants like this. For your own records though, I'd encourage you to make use of the multiple image upload slots to best document these aspects (along with text notes). For instance, below is how I record a variant of my black bespin guard with spikey leaves (sometimes the leaves are more *flat*). And if you feel your item is worth more (or less) than the Tracker automated valuation, you can always provide your own override as described here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, keep them coming!
