Re: The Black Wampa!
Paul did a great job on the article.
Hopefully Dr. Dengar will chime in, and give us his definitive opinion about the authenticity on the this legendary figure.

Re: The Black Wampa!
"...For now, TVTA cannot say for certain if the black Wampa exists or not. Like you, we can only look at the evidence available in the darkest corners of vintage Star Wars collecting forums, and try to pick out the facts from fiction...."
He should have added on this phrase, which could only be delivered by the late Rod Serling, "...look at the evidence available in the darkest corners of the TWILIGHT ZONE...."

Re: The Black Wampa!
Hahahaha that is a well written article by Paul.
My posted comment on his blog :
Great article on that bad ass creature haunting the vintage Star Wars community ever since he has emerged from the cold Hoth ice plains.
To me the Black Wampa really exists. He exists as much as X-Wings, AT ATs, Yoda, Darth Vader, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. In a different reality, but still a reality which Star Wars fans have embraced in their hearts.
The fact that some – including me – would have liked to see this cool fearful creature to be part of our own reality has probably been been the driving force behind the uncontrolled spread of the myth. The mind who believes is no match to reality.
So the relevant question is not whether the Black Wampa exists but whether you believe in it.
I am a firm believer.

Re: The Black Wampa!
I'd love a shirt with the black wampa superimposed over top of the Patterson Bigfoot image lol with text that says "I want to believe".
Right up there with the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
