vintage doll darth vader in box denys fisher with sticker Empire contre attaque meccano

One friend and me found a really rarest darthvader meccano box, i transfer her message to Facebook and pictures

How do you call it when you find a Meccano item which has not been referenced in Stéphane's book, when that item is Darth Vader-related but has no example in Bill's collection, and when that item is a large size action figure which is not in Duncan's collection either??
I would call it an exciting discovery to say the least!
Here it is: large size (15") Darth Vader packaged in a UK Denys Fisher box bearing the large black Meccano import sticker with the French "Empire Contre Attaque" logo

Up until now, the only known large size action figure imported and retailed in France by Meccano with a similar Denys Fisher box and black Meccano ESB sticker (instead of being directly packaged in a French box and distributed by Meccano) was Chewbacca. At least Chewbacca was the only one being referenced in both Stéphane's book and in the Archives.

That's a beautiful piece, and a fantastic discovery Fabrice. The box is in very good condition and helps provide further information on the import and export of the 12" line, congratulations my friend.

That's a fantastic find. The interest & questions from those other collectors you mentioned, must be pouring in.

the other collector is a bigger french collector, it's a friend of Stephane Faucourt ( Mr. Faucourt made the book " French touch, and Meccano to trilogo") we can see Mathieu on facebook in a lot of page sw,


for this box it's the first see in the world, maybe the last surviving
