ESCAPE INTO TERROR & THE NEW KING (DROIDS TV SERIES)

The Star Wars DROIDS TV series were never broadcasted on dutch television in the 80s. That probably explains that it was no love at first sight when first seeing the DROIDS mini rigs on theswca.com one day.
Things have changed since then and nowadays I consider them one of the greatest rigs around, mostly for their cool and clever design: SIDE GUNNER and ATL INTERCEPTOR.

While looking for some background info on the DROIDS Mini Rigs, I stumbled upon two DROIDS episodes featuring the two rigs in full action, and wanted them to share them here with you.
- ESCAPE INTO TERROR (Part 2 in the Droids Serie): Featuring the ATL INTERCEPTOR (and Vlix!!! )
- THE NEW KING (Part 6 in the Droids Serie): Featuring the SIDE GUNNER (and IG-88 flying a TIE Fighter look-alike)

ATL Interceptor can be seen at 21:23 (if you look very carefully)

Side Gunner can be seen at 6:24 and further.
