What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
If you had to pick only one, whether it is because of the emotional or financial value...
For me it is my trilogo Tie Pilot

Wow this is a tough one, but I can only chose one so I would have to say my autographed Boba Fett helmet would be my fav but then my other autographed stuff is also really cool and mean more to me as friends got the signatures, Then there are all the things I got for gifts including all the custom stuff, But now looking at my collection it could be nearly anything as I love it all .

Re: What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
Very tough question indeed
All of my most prized things in my collection are the things my friends have either made for me or just given me and my really weird and unique stuff I have picked up over the years .
If I can't have my entire custom figure collection that has been made for me by friends , I wouldn't be able to choose just one friends custom so I guess they would all have to burn
Otherwise I think my favorite unique item is this :
[800][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/800]
although they were all separate when I bought them , since I glued them to the wood for display and ease of handling , I am going to count it as one thing

Re: What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
Nice thread Nicolas and love the stuff posted so far.
Hard for me to choose a favourite really. My Luke 12 Back is definitely a classic but I don't feel that emotionally attached to it. I'd maybe say my Luke Glasslite MOC is my favourite. The cardback is visually beautiful and it, and the figure inside, are so different to the usual Kenner Farmboys. Plus it's just cool to own a small piece of history from such an exotic part of the world.

Re: What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
This is my personal holy grail, as I'm a great fan of all the cardboard backdrops/ playsets, this one was my most desirable one. As a kid I got a Vader Tie Fighter as a present from a friend and this one was one of the very few ones with this battle Scene backdrop. But he kept it for himself. As kid I was always eager to have one like this. So I made a "bad" black and white copy which I painted with markers. Later I was always on the hunt for the battle scene but couldn't get one. In 2014 I met this former friend again, with his huge collection. And he was so gentle to give it to me as a present. As you can see it is not in a mint condition but even more valueable for me.
Maybe one day I will get the cut one from the slave one as well....

Re: What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
ive been thinking long and hard on this and just cant think of one . recently its my poch collection but overall if I had to choose just one figure or item it would have to be just my hollow cheeks tusken raider , boring I know but I just love this variant . my second would be my dt luke or ig88 any of the variants I own ..... just too hard to come up with really ...... wait i'll break it down by line or is that cheating??/
kenner ,,,,,,, my dt luke or vc jawa ,,,, boring
lily ledy - red caped squid gorgeous
pbp - orange eyes smoother over coo ig88 or pale faced cc pilot
poch - chocolate legs han hoth
glasslite - matte gold 3po
meccano - no coo raised bar death star droid
palitoy - orange haired luke bespin I think hes paly
takara - stormie with back screw alt sculpt (hes my only takara so he wins)
that's one right ??????????????

Some great holy grails in this thread! love the mice characters very cool and the backdrop for vaders ship is something I have never seen before, as for mine it will have to be a boring one, luke x wing, the first figure I ever opened as a child, would love to have it back again carded and I will get it back someday

Re: What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
Damn there are some nice figures in there! I'm always amazed at some of the pieces people manage to pick up.
Re: What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
Difficult one this???
This line up contains a few pieces I'm proud to own, the LL Han Trench is nothing special really, but I love the variant, always wanted one and finally got one for a great price so I just like the guy. The Fett speaks for it's self really, there are only about 3 documented non sonic welded Tri-Logo Fetts with removable rockets, this is one of them and it cost £40 And the Palitoy R2 Droids Factory, just the love the figure and it's still the best condition example that I've ever seen and it cost £50..... Should probably mention that £50 wasn't just for the R2 but for a complete blue base Palitoy Droids Factory
This little line up also has a very special place in my heart, complete run of Poch Luke Bespins, not only is it one of only a handful of complete Poch Luke Bespin runs among collectors, it also has a story behind it which to me highlights the generosity and true collecting spirit of the hobby... but that';s a story for another day
Been the egotistical man that I am, I guess it would be wrong of me to not have a special place in my heart for the figures of... myself!!! Not many people have there own action figure never mind three! The first is of my own artistic creation, the other two are the handy work of a certain Oklahoman Chicken Psycho
But I guess the true pride of my collection would have to be this line up. A couple of years back when I recieved a message from Ozio saying he had a Luke Bespin that he'd like me to have a look at, I never expected it to be what it was, what it was, was what appeared to be a completely new LL variant never seen before. This turned out to be the case and when Ozio was kind enough to sell it to me I couldn't help but be truly excited to own this figure which at the time was the only one of it's kind on Earth, it is currently one of only three known examples. People say DT Ben is rare and Vlix etc. But there a a lot more MOC example of both these figures than there currently are of this LL figure making it one of the rarest production variants that exists today, so to own one is a truly awesome thing for me
The Overstock pieces are also something I prize very highly. The run of heads is the only complete run of it's kind on Earth that I am aware of and that's a pretty cool thing to be able to say

My top favourite figures are listed in this thread:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
But I would have to say that my favourite item in my collection is my Palitoy Death Star playset.
not only because it is one of the best playsets designed for vintage star wars, but also because it holds great sentimental value too. I have had this iconic playset since childhood, and spent many hours playing with it. Acting out daring escapes with Luke, Han, Leia and Chewie, from the evil clutches of Darth vader and the Empire

Re: What's your favorite/most prized item in your collection?
Love this thread. Some amazing pieces being shown.
For me it's simply down to 2 loose Lukes. Not first shots, hardcopies, EPs or anything else cool like that. Both have a market value of about £5 each but for me they are everything.
The first is the very first figure i was bought when i was 5 years old, Luke Farmboy. I have no idea where his lightsaber ended up but he has lost it. He is well played with and has a wobbly head but he is where is started. It's his fault and i have a lot to thank him for!
The second is one of my Luke X-Wings. I take him with me when ever i go away with the military. He helps to keep me grounded, a bit of sanity in an otherwise insane world.
Hard toss up between them, but my heart remains with LFB.

I still can't decide on my favourite piece. I'm leaning towards my Fortune Telling Yoda (aka the Magic 8-ball Yoda), but I'm still not sure.
