My Darth Vader Card back Collection
[title]My Darth Vader Card back Collection[/title]
I have had a Darth vader, collecting side focus, for a few years now. So once I had nearly completed my loose Vader figure run, I decided to start picking up a few MOCs.
But unfortunately Vader MOCs tend to demand a premium, so most are way out of my collecting budget. But I was recently inspired by Steve's (cantina_patron) Stormtrooper card back focus, and so decided to start collecting Vader card backs instead. Like Steve said it's far more affordable and takes up considerably less room.
It's still early days, and my collection got a very big bump from a good collector friend Mr Oscar Fiuza
If you have a Vader card back that I am missing, then please do get in touch via PM. Thanks for looking.

This card was originally an AFA graded MOC, but sadly the figure burst through the top of the bubble during transit to the buyer, so he listed it on ebay, where I picked it up.

Poch adverts
not cardbacks but a good place to show them as any These four adverts for Poch figures and vehicles are printed on the back of four Spanish, children's comic books.

Re: My Darth Vader Card back Collection
Fantastic run Chris and thank you for the nod in your introduction. I'll certainly keep my eyes open for any that you are missing.
How do you store yours? I've recently started to use acid free top loaders for mine. The main draw back is the snug fit, so I don't think it would be wise to remove them too often incase it causes additional wear.

Beautiful mate! I don't collect cardbacks but I might be soon with the way MOC prices are skyrocketing!
I'll keep an eye out for any cardbacks you might need.

Re: My Darth Vader Card back Collection
Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words
At the moment Steve, mine are stored in toploaders like yours. I did have a few stuck to the wall of my display room, but the problem with that is, you can't see the other side of them.
Now that I have quite a few, I don't have the wall space to display them this way.
So I thought I might pick up an A4 portfolio to display them in, a bit like Jays one in the video below

I think that may be the way to go Chris. If you find a suitable product available in the UK, let me know.

Yeah I've had a look online and in the Uk they are very expensive. I was thinking perhaps an artists portfolio might be the way to go.
A4 Portfolio
then you buy the individual sleeves seperately.

Re: My Darth Vader Card back Collection
thanks Clint. sorry its taken me so long. Due to lockdown, I had to buy a laptop for my son. So that he can home school properly. I also recently bought an external hard drive, and downloaded all my photobucket pics onto it. I've spent a bit of time re organising the pics into folders and am now at a stage to start uploading all my missing pics. Only thing is, I only have access to the laptop while my son is staying with me. I hope to get a refurbished laptop for myself fairly soon, so will then be able to get back on here much more regularly
