I think the majority here will know me, I am Bryan. I have been around a while and am involved in another site quite a bit. Not going to bash any site above the other as Star Wars collecting is my passion not my political affiliation. I am friends with just about everyone I have seen here so far, so I figure why not be here also.

Let me be the first to welcome you on board Bryan.

I'm Richard, also known as the threat to your marriages. Or did I dream that?

I think most of you know me as I'm on most forums and fb groups. I also co-host The Vintage Rebellion podcast which has taken off better than we thought.

I've only been collecting toy lines for 3 years (so I'm fake according to some) but I have a loose collection of almost everything put out by Kenner/Palioy for figures, playsets, vehicles, diecast etc. including most variants. Just missing odds and ends. I also collect some oddball (whatever takes my fancy) from sigma, topps etc. I'm currently an R5D4 focus collector (no you're not because you've not been collecting 10 years+ so are double fake) and have been for about 5 months or so.

The toys are awesome, I really enjoy it, but without the community they are nothing. Well............ not exactly nothing but you get what I mean

Hi guys - this is Mete Akin, aka turkdlit on the RS forums. I can also be found on FB occasionally. I collect uzays and prototypes and don't have any claim to fame other than my uzay website and being solely responsible for getting Erik Sprague kicked off of RS and all other popular SW collectors sites

Looking forward to what you guys are doing here. I like the idea and I think it's pretty forward thinking to bridge the huge gap between FB and traditional forums. If I can help in any way beyond posting here feel free to let me know. Cheers,

What's up mete? Lots of familiar names around here. Not so many familiar faces yet as we all seem to be assigned this hoth rebel soldier avatar. I never did inquire further into that brother incident on the uzay stuff. Did that get resolved? Did the ripped off party get their product or money?

Hey Bryan! What happened was (and I don't want to give too many details because the buyer wants to stay anonymous) - they bought the complete headman with silver sword (I own the only other silver sword known to exist) for a hefty amount. When the package came, the figure and gold shield was there, but the sword was missing.

Naturally the brothers gave some Bulls hit song and dance about it being stolen by the Turkish postman etc. The buyer had videotaped the entire unpacking, so it is clear it was never in the package. It's obvious they either kept it or sold it someone else.

They offered a partial refund which the buyer reluctantly accepted because he was afraid that they wouldn't have refunded him anything if he sent the figure and shield back. In the end, he ended up royally overpaying for anow incomplete figure, and the brothers got away with grand theft.

It's a real shame too because their collection is pretty special. I was going to help them make a kings ransom selling their stuff, but told them they were dirty crooked shit head scammers and haven't talked to them since. They've been pretty quiet ever since.

That sucks. I think I know who the buyer was, but haven't tried to confirm. Glad to see you here. This site needs some uzay knowledge.

Oh you mean the Miscellaneous section!

Yeah it is labeled misc. but seems to be focused on preproduction stuff. This is just a testing phase I think for some of us to give feedback on so maybe some title rework?
