Re: Rick Springfield Star Wars Collection
The bits involving Rick and his collection were awesome.
The "expert" who thinks a blue snaggletooth is SO RARE is a moron.
And I won't discuss my feelings on James Gallo. He knows his stuff, and that's about all I'll share.

Thinking the same thing, and he didn't mention how rare the bluestar & headman are, just the price.

Re: Rick Springfield Star Wars Collection
Anyone thinking the blue snags was the "rare" piece in Rick's collection probably didn't even know who or what those bootlegs are.
I still remember Joe Yglesias bringing Rick's acquisition of that Headman to light. Up until then, Joe's had been the only one known to exist on card.

Well he was in Battlestar Galactica for a very short time lol. He always struck me as being a nerd from some of the interviews and when I met him many years ago.

Yeah skye says hes selling up in his chive cast.thats where the rumours started.agording to james gallo he isnt selling up at all and just selling some items hes upgraded.so the panics over.no more clambering to get stuff :/ i thought it seemed strange him selling up.he obviously loves his sw collection and its not as though he needs the money.and that expert they had was a total dweeb.blue snag soooo rare my eye.and the 21bk fett could buy an old car! What a vintage ferarri or a 1980 yugo?

Cool video, I'm really getting sick of hearing blue snags are rare & also yak face :/
Glad to see Nigo up in here, I'm a fine of his designs. But didn't know he's selling off his SW collection? It's pretty massive.

Anyone see a close-up of that Harbert Fett? It always seems to be held away.

No but I saw a discussion about this on FB and some knowledgeable collectors believe its genuine.
Supposedly there are only a handful of these known to existence. Crazy....

Re: Rick Springfield Star Wars Collection
Hi. No questions about it being real or not. Just noticed it was the only one he kept held away from Camera. "Real" pictures of this figure are becoming hard to find.

Re: Rick Springfield Star Wars Collection
great video , im not a carded collector but know a little bit , my question is .....
is that really the only carded empire fett? are they that scarce? I never realized.
is that blue stars and headman on the card legit? ive never seen a carded headman ...
anyways its nice to see hes just llike us , only with millions in disposable income ,

There are all kinds of ESB Fett's. His is (was) the only known example of that variation.
The bootlegs are definitely legit. There are only two carded Headman's known to exist. For years, Joe Yglesias had the only one, but when another popped up, Joe actually assisted Rick in getting his.
I'm not so sure how deep Rick's actual knowledge goes beyond "this one is rare", and some very basic info.

As Ian said, Boba Fett was released on numerous different ESB card variations. The significant thing about Rick's Fett is that it is a Harbert Fett, Harbert was the licensee for Star Wars in Italy (like Palitoy in England, Meccano in France etc.) The Harbert logo is in the top left corner.
