Rest in Peace James Martin Empty Rest in Peace James Martin

Post by Commander Clint Fri Jul 17, 2020 2:12 pm

I don't know if James was a member on this forum.  But I had the pleasure of hanging out with James at Celebrations in Orlando & Chicago.
James lost his long battle with cancer.  He will be missed.  RIP

Here is Javi, Iain Sanderson, Christian & James at the Archive Party in Orlando 2017.

I never had the pleasure to meet James Martin in person but I was lucky enough to buy a beautiful Tri Logo Lando from him and during the sale we chatted on the messenger,  a very nice guy who was highly regarded in the hobby and will be sadly missed Crying or Very sad RIP Sad

This was horrible new. James was a top bloke and a really passionate collector. Met him a few times and he was really easy to chat to. Rest in peace big fella.

I don't think I ever met James, but I was recently putting together the new episode of TVR and the guys do a lovely tribute to him in there, a great group photo featuring Clint, James and Jason Smith (from Orlando I guess?) made it in there. They share some great stories, sounds like we lost a fine member of the community.
