"Gross MOC Run" by psybertech
[section_header]my gross moc run[/section_header]
This started as an idea as I stared at my Palitoy 12B Vader wondering how I could showcase him better. So after a while and some beer and researching, it came to me.
There are 12 figures in the initial run (and they are what got me into the hobby late in 2012) ...
There are 12 main card back 'batches' (not including letter variations, just the main types) ...
They are the 12, 20, 21, 31, 32, 41, 45, 47, 48, 65, 77 & 79 backs (POTF and TriLogos excluded) ...
All first 12 figures can be found on one of those 12 back batches.
12 x 12 = 144 AKA, a Gross
Voila! A "Gross MOC run". I guess its a catchier name than 12 on 12 Run or whatever.
And yes, it doesn't consist of 144 figures, nor do I think there are 144 possible combinations... just let me have the name!
My goals are long term and simple but should be an everlasting, fun journey and I am sure I will learn a ton along the way!
I will be accepting MOCs in almost any condition except no major cracks in the bubbles. Tiny cracks in dented areas are OK.
Rough cards, yellowed or dented bubbles are all to be considered.
I will upgrade or swap pieces as time moves forward to change their display order around.
I will accept a non US Kenner back and hope to get a few along the way.
The only rule I placed on myself is that R2 and C-3PO must be the originals so I am limited to 12 - 41 backs there.
Death Squad Commander's name MUST be DSC, so I am limited to 12 - 21 backs there.
I plan to keep this updated as my journey continues!
I hope you like!
I never heard of anyone doing this type of run, but if you have, please let me know. I would love to see someone else's version of it.
