As you know , both sellers indicated that these were Theatre promotions in their auctions but I have not been able to verify it yet scratch

Hopefully someone will see these and be able to give us some more information ...

So I posted pictures of them on the "Beyond the Toys" FB group, and had a collector confirm they were Theater promotional items. The pitcher also comes with a lid. Which he said is very hard to find a pitcher with a lid. The cups also come in 2 different sizes. After some help from the collector, I found the listing in my "magic book", but with no pictures.

James, The collector "Kenneth W." was also looking for other SW cups, so I sent him to your Ebay page. afro

Do the guys there know if there were matching cups for the ROTJ pitcher as well ?

I'll start checking the auctions I see for the 1982 cups more carefully and try to figure out how to spot the different sized cups What a Face

They did have matching cups in 2 different sizes for the ROTJ. I'm assuming they had 2 different sized cups for the ESB as well.

There was a change in shape of the 32 oz. cups between the release of the 1982 Star wars / ESB cups and the 1983 ROTJ cups :

After a couple years of trying to piece together a full set of 20 cups , I actually came across a complete set all at once :

The best part is every one was a upgrade to the ones I already had - nearly perfect graphics and only slight discoloration on 3 cups yay
