1978 "ADPAC" Star Wars General Mills Cereal Stickers

The "ADPAC" stickers were released simultaneously in the USA and Canada by General Mills .

There are 16 Stickers in each set . The USA versions have all English text while the Canadian versions feature both English and French text .

They came as prizes inside select boxes of Count Chocula , Boo Berry , Frankenberry , Cheerios , Cocoa Puffs , Lucky Charms and Trix cereals . Certain cards were only available in certain boxes of cereal .

USA Release

Die Cut Stickers

This 10 sticker set was sold in vending machines and they are perforated on the short ends so that they could be torn apart .
The style of the artwork and prismatic background on these stickers is identical to the prism stickers manufactured for Drawing Board Greeting Cards Inc. by a company called " Decal Specialties Inc. " ( see the post above ) .
Perhaps , at some point , the company that produced both sets was the same and just changed names from " Decal Specialties Inc. " to " Vending Supply Company "

The tag on the left appears to be dated 10 / 27 / 1986 - perhaps indicating the actual time frame the stickers were being sold ?
