New York City Public Service Commercial

I'm not sure if everyone has seen this PSA from New York City.

That was awesome brother , it actually brought a little tear to my eye .

It really saddens me that wearing a mask is now a political issue here in the US . My wife has so many health issues and immune system disorders that I worry constantly about her catching the corona virus . I wear a mask everywhere I go to try and protect her (she hasn't been out of the house for months now) . Unfortunately I live in a predominantly Republican state so , when I am forced to go in public , only about 10 % of the people I see wear masks . You would think that "anti maskers" have someone in their lives that they care enough about to protect - wearing a mask shouldn't be a political issue , it's about trying to save the people you love . If a persons personal "freedom & liberty" is more important than simply wearing a mask it proves that the only person they truly love is their self .

I've been wearing a mask, any time that I go into a store.  When I'm out in the open away from everyone else is the only time that I take it off.  I haven't been going out a lot.  My wife is worried that I'll get it as well.  She's been doing all the grocery shopping for months.  I'm finding that when I am out, I've got a bit of anxiety if there are too many people around.

It's most under 30 year olds that aren't wearing a mask around here.  And social distancing.
They just aren't getting the message.
